Amazing place, a must if you visit Iasi.

This is a must experience in order to get good fruits, vegetables and other traditional products.
Before you buy anything, just visit the whole market. Many vendors are not authentic. They imitate real peasant producers in order to sale import products as local.
Get past this and will be a nice experience.

It is the largest and the cheapest open market of the city. If you stay for a couple of days or longer, make sure to come and buy the freshest fruit, or the juiciest vegetables. It is a true vegan heaven! Moreover, if you like dairy products, or you are carnivorous, you will surely find something as well!

Historic market packed with fresh and beautiful produce, plants, flowers, pickles, medicinal herbs, nuts and basic cooking supplies. Refrigerated stalls along the periphery offer cheeses, meats, eggs and poultry. One of my favorite places in Iași, with at least a hundred vendors bringing the infinite bounty of Romania's impeccable fruits and veggies to you at excellent prices.
