CrossFit Black Hammer

I was in Bucharest only for a few hours. They were incredibly accommodating. They stored my oversized luggage for a couple of hours before my class started. Because we were only two people in the class it felt like a private lesson. The coach was keen to help you push yourself even though I was just a drop-in.

Great group of friendly people here. Very flexible open-box hours for those of us who want to focus on our oly lifts. Plus, several days a week there is a former coach from the Romanian weightlifting team who helps out and will even write up a weightlifting specific program for you if you wish. There is an extra fee for his coaching but in a single day I could tell it was well worth it!

Im spending one month in Bucharest and hence do not have a car. I learned the hard way to not take a taxi/uber to the box during afternoon rush hour. Much faster + easier to just take the M3 to Politechnica and from there it's a 5-10 minute walk.

Great gym, soon to be upgrading to a new space. Justin, the coach and owner, is fabulous. Fantastic spot and recommended for those English speakers just passing through town.

Came for the fitness, stayed for the dogs 😁
