Best Pupusa’s in Zonte and maybe the best in all of El Salvador. Owned and operated by a local family this place is always packed. Bring your patience as orders take up to an hour but you will be rewarded with cheap authentic food. Prices range from 75 cents to $1.50.

Food is delicious and so affordable. If you come on the weekend bring your patience and you will be rewarded.

Out of probably 20 pupusarias throughout El Salvador I can say that this place has the best ones!

They offer maiz and rice pupusas as well as vegan options (instead of cheese they use beans with the filling you want. Never found that somewhere else). Also they have a large choice of fillings. The most cost $0,75.

Wow, this place is the local spot with great Pupuseria, which is a well known dish. You must try this place, as any option will not disappoint you. Go early before all the phone orders and people start to arrive.

Expect a long wait, but the pupusas are worth it. I visited almost everyday for 2 weeks.

I've dined in and taken food to go as well. If you're taking food to go, I recommend arriving at 6pm, placing your order, and taking a sunset walk or grabbing a drink at another restaurant for 30 mins while you wait.

Holy pupusa!!!!This the best place to eat pupusas here in the El tunco ..zonte area in El Salvador i feel like the food lacks seasoning and salt not the case here. Fu(ken amazing... Do yourself a favor and go there and see your toes curl your knees quake. And wash that food orgasm with a cold 🍻 beer.these lady's don't mess around!!!! They definitely have some pretty spicy hot sauce that isn't found in most eateries. The pickled cabbage it's me of my grandmothers top knotch!!! You're staying in the hostels in El zonte they do have of picking up or eating there.

These people really care about their customers. We were in a a last minute pinch for dinner, showed up right before closing, they gave us some extra pupusas on the house. Incredible taste, made fresh right in front of you with the most expensive one being only 2$. Highly reccomend.
