Very private, a beautiful and peaceful location, braking of the ocean waves are heard from everywhere. All modern amenities, and very secure. GM, Rosa Mejia and her team made my birthday extra special. This is a place once you discover it, you really do not ever want to leave. It is a true paradise.

The BEST HOTEL on the coast! We were able to spend 3 weeks in El Salvadore traveling and this was by far the best experience in a hotel. The staff was so attentive. Rosa meets you and walks you through your villa. She is there as well as all the staff for anything you need. The food at the restaurant was SUPERB!!! Beautiful, quiet, clean. Perfect❤

We ended our trip to El Salvador at Paraíso Escondido, and it was the perfect end to our vacation. The hotel is stunning, set on a cliff overlooking the beach and feels incredibly boutique. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. Our villa was spotlessly clean and had the most beautiful views over the ocean. We spent all day on the hammock! The restaurant was delicious and everything fresh made with care. This place was truly a paradise, and we hope to come back one day soon!

I am here, currently in what truly is a rustic paradise. In this region of El Salvador, I am reminded of how majestic our earth is. The villas is wonderfully designed and accomdating. The pool is lovely, overlooking the ocean. This is the pacific coast and therefore the coastline is fine, powdery black sand. The property boasts a natural lagoon which guests can swim in, serviced by the ocean itself.

Amazing stay at this hotel. The sunsets here are amazing with hues of pink and orange as you watch the sun completely set over thr Pacific Ocean. Many instagramable shots. The location felt private and relaxing. Limited number of villas keep the experience for a limited number of guests peaceful. Service friendly and quick. The food at the restaurant and drinks were very good, and would suit anyone with a palate for Western-style food. Portions were fair for the average person. Freshly squeezed orange juice with a french pressed coffee with breakfast while listening to the ocean waves crash below was just blissful!

This place is wonderful! A true hidden paradise. As a native Salvadoran, I return to El Salvador annually with my kids so they can learn about my culture and country. I also love for us to chill and enjoy the beach and the most beautiful sunsets that I know (after traveling for 30 yrs) can only be seen in El Salvador. I am so happy I found this hidden gem. I love the tranquility, awesome views, beautiful grounds and amazing service at this place. Thank you to Rosa, Javier and Gabby for making us feel at home. We will be back soon!

We have stayed at great hotels in the USA, Canada, Central America and Europe; this is by far our best experience. What makes this the best experience is the perfect mix of location, comfort, service and amenities.

The hotel is located in a quiet area of La Libertad (Southwestern part of El Salvador on the Pacific Coast). It’s a 40 minute drive to Surf City (Playa El Tunco). The grounds are beautifully kept. The infinity pool is immaculate. The views from the infinity pool, pergola and 2 viewpoints are breathtaking! There’s a restaurant on the property for guest use only. The chefs take pride in their craft cooking fresh and delicious meals. I ate my body weight in fish ceviche and oysters. My wife loved her mariscada (seafood soup)!

Our villa was large and spacious. High speed WiFi connection. Netflix and other online streaming services. The terrace has a hammock, dining table and other comfortable furniture. We ate breakfast on the covered terrace everyday because the views of the property and the ocean were amazing, the weather was cool and the sounds of nature were calming (mix of birds chirping and ocean waves breaking on the coast line). We enjoyed eating fish ceviche on the pergola- again amazing views, cool ocean breeze, soothing sounds. Watching the sunset over Pacific Ocean from the main viewpoint drinking a strawberry mojito was a highlight of our stay!

The hospitality program is top notch. Special thanks to the hotel manager Rosa and her team making our stay incredible. Rosa does a great job engaging and connecting with her guests. She is passionate about making sure that her guests have the best experience. She arranged transportation to and from the airport for us and wonderful day trips. A visit to the Ruta de las Flores is a must on Saturday or Sunday. Gabby and Javier were fantastic! They made sure that were taken care of at all times.

What else can I say!? I could go on and on. This place is a fortress with security. We felt safe at all times. All the places we visited in El Salvador were safe. My wife is a United Kingdom native. Safety concerns is the reason why she was worried about visiting El Salvador. Her first visit to El Pulgarcito was a safe, enjoyable and a memorable one! She can’t wait to go back🤩🇸🇻

Truly a hidden paradise. The resort is just lovely and very well maintained. The restaurant was delicious and the staff was just amazing. The room itself was also very large and spacious. All rooms are along the hill so each room has a view of the beautiful ocean. Loved that the beach was truly private and that there is even a short hiking trail to enjoy. This place is a must and I can't wait to return.

We picked this resort because it ticked every wish we had and the reviews are wonderful. It is the perfect hotel to relax and I honestly just didn't want to leave whilst usually we are only at the hotel for some sleep. We relaxed, watched the ocean waves, we went inside a private cave, we had excellent and fresh food which was just perfect. There was a wifi box on the ceiling of our villa so internet was good. Shampoo, condition and soap are natural so no harsh ingredients that harm your hair. And the service, oh gosh, just mind blowing. They surprised us with their warm hearts, made us feel at ease, we never had to worry about anything. They went above and beyond to make us feel cared for. The villas are more spacious than it appears to be on the photo, the bathroom too! Shower is excellent, bedding is good and balcony is huge with a priceless calm view over the ocean. And! They have the luxury of owning a private sand beach. Swimming pool with beautiful (i believe infinity) view over the ocean and I even saw some wildlife animals walking around and climbing into trees which were just cherries on top of the cake. I'm already homesick to this resort. Thank you a million times Rosa and your team (who were like family).

The name literally speaks for itself. This hotel is by far one of the best hotels I’ve been to this far, and I’ve been to plenty of amazing hotels. Let’s start with the views, my mouth literally dropped when I saw the view from my terrace. You’re on the edge of a mountain overlooking a beautiful beach, the terrace is huge, and has space to lounge and eat. The villa itself was also pretty big. Hearing the waves crashing at night felt like a dream! Next, the food—the food and drinks were delicious. I tried something new on the menu everyday during my stay, and wasn’t disappointed. You also have access to a beautiful beach and natural pool—definitely check it out during your stay, it’s so worth it! Finally, the service—the service is literally out of this world! Ms. Rosa and the entire staff were extremely welcoming, accommodating, and made me feel like family. Ms. Rosa helped arrange my taxi to and from the city (Mr. Luis and Mr. Vicente were the best), she’d check-in with me to make sure everything was going well, and was such a sweet person overall. Shoutout to Javier my waiter, who was amazing. Can’t wait to come back, 5/5 stay easily! If you’re thinking about staying here, do it! Thank you to everyone at Paraiso Escondido, I truly loved my stay.

It was absolutely our favorite resort we have stayed at EVER! The staff is amazing! It’s an organic beautiful experience here ! The sunset here is nothing short of the most beautiful thing I have seen in my life. We will return again! I love the people of El Salvador ❤🇸🇻🌎 Humble

A beautiful view from our villa! Fast and reliable wifi. Rosa was so helpful. Food was great and juices were fresh. Ocean waves were stunning and revitalizing. The only thing that would have made it better was a massage or yoga session. Definitely going back. x

We loved our stay at Paraíso Escondido. The black sand beach was fabulous, and we could walk barefoot when it wasn't high tide. The natural salt water pool was wonderful, and there are even small tropical fish swimming around. The fresh water pool was spacious and extremely clean. The food was top-rate and very well-priced, considering that the resort is a separate compound. Our Topacio Villa had a great view, comfortable bed and fabulous hammock on a spacious balcony. Everything was clean and sanitized and the entire staff (including Rosa, Jeremías and Gaby) was entirely committed to our satisfaction. I only wish I lived closer so as to visit more frequently! 10/10.

We had an excellent stay here the villas were huge and very well decorated..also the view out the terrace was amazing!!! the restaurant had great food and great service I recommend the ceviche and the mariscada soup the breakfast is great too all the food is made fresh there and the quality is top notch...the pool was awesome we had a great view of the sunset from the infinty pool. Rosa treated us like family she made sure we were all well taken care of... we've been to other resorts in the area but this one has been by far our favorite one

I had the best time at paraiso Escondido. Rosa is seriously the best host you can ever ask for. She goes beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have the best time. I had food poisoning from dining at another hotel before coming to paraiso Escondido and Rosa made sure to have the kitchen make me a special soup to calm down my stomach and bough electrolytes for me while i rested in my room. She deserves the world. The hotel itself is also just stunning, the view from coral suite is unbelievable over looking the cliffs and ocean and the outdoor pool is simply amazing edged into the cliffs and on the beach. I will definitely stay here again when I’m back in El Salvador. Thank you paraiso Escondido and Rosa for everything!

Totally a paradise!! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻🏝🏞 excellent food and service, people is kind, amazing views. The whole resort is for a few guests so you can enjoy everything for yourself. If you want to relax, go there. I definitely recommend it 👌🏻

Wonderful place to bring the family. Loved the privacy,attention from the staff. The beach was very private. I highly recommend. Beautiful view. If you are trying to relax this is the place to go and get away from everything.

Our boys had a great time enjoying the ocean at the private beach, the pool
