Beautiful colonial town in El Salvador. Very well kept and full of life.Many restaurants, Artesian markets, and shops to visit. People are mostly friendly. Full of hostels and hotel boutique.Nice lake view from many parts of the town.

Daniel was one of the best guides I've met on my whole Central America trip. The passion for his job and love for what he does clearly shone through. Excellent tour with Suchitoto Ecotours and our guide Daniel. We took the sunrise canoe trip to the lake in Suchitoto which was atmospheric and beautiful. The real hi-light was during our 2nd tour around the largest National Park in El Salvador, speaking in person to a retired war veteran and swimming at a local waterfall. It was an unforgettable experience.

Fantastic local tour company offering tours around Suchitoto. I went on the Cinquera civil war hike and the cultural city tour. Danny was a fantastic and friendly guide and the tours were so informative and shared in a honest friendly manner the history of El Salvador including the current situation. The only downside is a lot of the content was repeated between the two tours, so I would only recommend taking one tour.
