Casa 1800 Suchitoto

Oh my goodness this was such a cool place, we came for dinner and we had to come back for the views the next day. Our server was super sweet and the food was amazing. Get the Horchata !!!

Great restaurant. Excellent service. Prices are very fair. The steak was a popular dish from what I see. I did the chimichurri sauce but tamarind sauce was the favorite.

Beautiful view!!! The people there are so kind, resourceful and generous. Breakfast was great, but the hen soup was 👌🏼

Food was delicious with a great view to enjoy. Reasonable prices for such a nice place. Definitely worth going to for a lunch out.

We stopped by for lunch and we weren't disappointed. We tried Carne and Gallina de Rosita; they were both delicious and the waiting time was reasonable. Carne was accompanied w/vegetables, rice, avocado slice, tortilla and your choice of sauce for the meat. La horchata was really good as were the specialty coffees. For dessert, we ordered tipico of the day: Torreja (which is basically French toast dipped in a a sweet bundle or local molasses; scrumptious. The view from the restaurant is breath taking.

Loved it here so much! This is one of the most scenic restaurants ever. It was so peaceful here and got to see so many beautiful birds soaring around. Managed to snag a table in the front at 2 pm. I was short on time and the food came out so fast. I just enjoyed sitting here and soaking the views in. Also got to meet a fellow solo traveler here where we hung out afterwards. A bit pricey but so worth the visit, my soul appreciated it.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful colonial style building in nice rooms (only downside is there are no windows in the room). The beds are super soft and the sheets are luxuriously silken. The receptionist gave us a little tour around the place and told us a bit about the history. The restaurant was great, with nice dishes and good service. The room has breakfast included which -contrary to in other places- wasn’t a fixed dish but you can just make your choice from the menu, to accommodate different preferences. The only thing we didn’t like was the bad singer who kept on singing (we were the only people in the restaurant and we didn’t clap) who later followed us and asked us for a tip. Not appropriate I think.

We visited from New York and what an amazing experience we had here!!! From before we arrived front desk was already communicating with us, we were allowed to check in early, they had a parking spot reserved for us and were very informative about the area, places to hike, how to take a lake tour on a boat, where to eat and more. The food at the restaurant was amazing and the whole staff overall was great. Can’t wait to be back

Lovely view of Lake Suchitlan, beautiful nature focused aesthetic.

The food and service were great. We had the tortilla nacho appetizer with the loroco chimichurri; it was delicious and a generous serving. We also had the chicken soup, also delicious, tasted perfectly homemade.

Our waiter was very kind, attentive and knowledgeable about the area. He gave us great suggestions for things to do and shared a bit about the history of the lake. Highly recommend it and I would definitely visit again.

Beautiful restaurant!. decided to visit this spectacular little town before we leave the country. The service and view was worth the drive. I had the typical breakfast with American Coffee (best I’ve tried so far on this trip).

Absolutely amazing! The food was so incredible. I had sopa de gallina and it was so delicious. The view was awesome. The service was so great. They were very helpful. I had a broken ankle at the time and was having a hard time getting around. They let us park right in front, and helped me to the dining deck. We ended up seeing someone else on crutches there so I would say this was a pretty accessible space for the area.

Amazing. So much thoughtfulness in making such a beautiful atmosphere. We just got drinks and dessert but it was fantastic as well.
I want to come back here and get married in this place. It would be just unreal.

This restaurant it has a beautiful view to the Suchitoto lake. The food was really good, we order some traditional Salvadorian breakfast dishes and some not traditional. Everything we order it was really good, the food had flavor and it came with coffee included. This restaurant has so much history. People come to this place to take pictures with the beautiful view seating on a rustic rocking chair looking out to the lake.

We loved the stay! Overall our expereince was GREAT! The STAFF was awesome! No complaints. The only issue we had was when they served us our alcohol beverages. They served us more ice than the actual drink. My husband took it to the manager they corrected it right away. For this act I give this place 5 stars!! I will be back! The boat ride included with the hotel stay package was an nice experience. Hasta pronto Casa 1800.

If you are around suchitoto, El Salvador. Please make sure to visit this gorgeous restaurant. The views, the grounds and the people are one of a kind. Never mind the food! The food is in a level by itself and is a must to try it. This is Salvadorean cuisine at its best.

It's a great place to eat at. Very cozy surrounded by trees. Tables are all made out of wood and there is a great deck with an spectacular view to the mountains and the lake. Prices are a little higher than other restaurants around but food is great.

Beautiful property overlooking the lake. The rooms are clean and cozy with tasteful mix of old/new world design detail. Fantastic outdoor dining experience including super friendly staff. A perfect place to stay in Sugitoto which is beyond belief charming as well.

This place was so peaceful and beautiful. The town itself is great. Will definitely stay here again! The people working here are so kind and helpful!!

This restaurant is slightly pricey compared to other places we ate at but the food was really good - they had a combination of traditional foods but also some more westernized food, like sandwiches. It was such a gorgeous place, even though it was under construction the ambiance was perfect. You really can’t beat that view while enjoying a cold horchata!
