Update:My favorite restaurant in a 100km radius. The old lady loses more teeth every time I'm coming there. She speaks more than enough English for your needs. English menu with lots of choices, Thai and foreign. The food is great and made with love. Tasty Thai dishes are recommended and made quick. Foreign food can take some time in cases... Be patient or order smart. She is open all day and up to late night if guests still sitting. Prices are very affordable for any tourist, Thai or foreign. Highly recommended

Popular with travelers. Great Thai food properly cooked. Good selection of food for all desires. Good coffee. Very reasonable priced. Old lady running the place is a bit slow but you won't mind if the place is packed and you enjoy great Thai food. Very recommend.

The lady is just awesome. As far as the price and the food I agree with all the good reviews. As far as the speed of being serve is, I was the first one the first time I went there and the only one the second time I was there so I got nothing to say about that as far as I’m concern. And both time the latte yen was good.
Also as a bonus you got some beautifull sparrows flying around.
Was hoping for a good breakfast this morning before leaving Thaton so I got there, was suppose to be open at 9, but no one is there so don’t trust their opening hours.

Such an amazing little place with a huge menu but everything freshly prepared by the wonderful owner- to echo another review a very sweet woman who speaks enough English to communicate with. The food is excellent and so very tasty and the atmosphere great.,We had lunch there and then went back for dinner. We can recommend it highly

Ice coffee is delicious. The lovely lady who runs the cafe is so accommodating. For the Spanish travelers who want a taste of home she will oblige you in making Cuban rice , the cooked banana is the best...

Amazing food thanks to one amazing lady. Yes, she is working alone, so probably you'll need to wait a bit. But we were group of 10, so it makes sense. If you search authentic thai cuisine and warm approach, it's definitely good choice.

Awesome coffee. Nice ambiance. Delicious food. Good location. We had some stir-fry’s and they were good. Service was a bit slow, but the lady at the restaurant was nice and doing it all by herself. Cooking, waitressing, and cashiering. They had good prices. A large chang is 60 baht. Definitely the best option for tourists in Tha Ton. They also have western food. Baguette sandwiches with fries were on the menu and sounded intriguing.

Good and cheap thai food. Starting from 30 Baht. You also get international food and breakfast as well. Be patient as the lady was there all alone to cook the food. There is also a clean toilet at the back. Just ask for the key.

Bueno bonito y barato. The owner is a really sweet lady. I ordered the Pad Krapow Gai for merely 30B! The porta potty looking toilet is squeaky clean. Great pit stop in the Chiang Rai Loop.

Nice little place in the heart of Thaton. Chicken Cashew Nut especially tastey as she add a little bit of ginger to the dish. Very good.

The food here is delicious and the price is very reasonable. The owner/cook is very friendly and a great person as well as a great Thai cook.

Excellent food here. I especially like the BLT which comes in a big baguette with nice fries. Nice lady who runs it is very friendly and helpful.
