What an amazing place to learn about elephants and interact with them! The sanctuary has 16 elephants that staff saved from elephant shows and the logging industry, among others. They seem to be very well taken care of and happy, living as how elephants should close to the wild. The tour was very well organized and led by kind and knowledgeable staff who answered all kinds of questions. You get to feed and pet (in a gentle and respectful way) the elephants which is a surreal experience.

Amazing place to visit!
It's a Sanctuary so not using these beautiful creatures for entertainment and money from entrance fees etc goes into the continued care for these previously used/ abused elephants!
You get the cancellation to feed them from the skywzlk and see them roaming and splashing in their pools.
Great guides too! Also good cafe
Would certainly go again!

Great experience here, you can tell they love what they do and elephants are well looked after. The sky walk is a good way to watch them and feed from above. Such gentle, amazing creatures! Bon was a highlight and great tour guide

Ethical, beautiful and very well maintained place. Before choosing where to go we carefully checked if the places had any type of mental or physical torture to the animals, this place is a dream for these beautiful big babies. We don’t invade their personal space - no showering or going on top of them. If you pay differently you can touch them but quick enough not to irritate them. There’s also the option without touching. Both include feeding grass and bananas to them from the top of the way. Absolutely loved it, specially in the bringing of the tour when they show a video explaining that the owner vision was to have a happy place and not a torture place. 100% recommend, thank you for the amazing and cruelty free experience ✨✨🐘

This park is only a few years old and is exeptionally modern. They rescued elephants during the pandemic when their previous owners couldn't employ them anymore (circus, logging, etc.). The elephants receive wonderful treatment, and the guides are very lovely.

- Prepare and feed the elephants in the kitchen/feeding area
- Walk on the skywalk, witness the park from above, and feed them again
- Explore the area, get to know the elephants, and share some love

The tour provides detailed insights into the resident elephants and elephants in general. There's also a short coffee break between the events, making the total duration 90-120 minutes (you can also opt for a meal afterward). Priced at 2000 baht per person, it might not be cheap, but the experience is undoubtedly worthwhile. Moreover, you support the elephants (they eat 200-300kg of food a day per elephant), the park, their caretakers, and their mission to build the first elephant hospital on Koh Samui.

(We arrived at 12:30 pm, bought tickets without reservations; the tour began at 2 pm. While waiting, you can enjoy the beautiful waterfall which is located near the park.)

I chose the half day morning experience with transportation. My group, 5 of us, got picked up at the end of Nathan pier. We came from a cruise ship. There was a sign with my name on it plus party size. We got picked up at 8:15am (they were early) but some people trickled in up to 30 min later.

We got started at 9:10am, watched a video with info about the sanctuary. They have 16 elephants here, 3 male and 13 female. Then we got to go pet and interact with the elephants. My group interacted with about 7 of the elephants. This was everyone’s favorite part. Then we got to go up on the bridge and feed elephants. After that we had a lunchtime meal, then made a lunchtime meal (like elephant protein balls) for the elephants and fed those to them.

Wonderful experience overall and I loved every minute of it!

We booked through their website and all went smoothly!
The driver was excellent, and the tour guides were amazing. They have many different tour guides to cover many languages, we had three join us, English speaking, Chinese speaking and German speaking. So we broke off into little groups so everyone could make the most of their tour guide and the information being shared. There were three activities throughout the day, first making protein balls and feeding the elephants, then we went on the sky walk where we were taught about the sanctuary and how each elephant came into their care. On thr sky walk we were table to feed them bananas and grass. The third activity was walking with them, we got to meet the elephant carers and the elephants themselves, after a few pats and more bananas we watched them go for a dip. Finished off the day with a lovely pad Thai lunch. Highly recommend this tour!

This is what an elephant sanctuary should be like. These rescued elephants are treated incredibly well and there is no riding them or having them working. Our guide Tuna was knowledgeable and couldn't have been more enthusiastic, taking photos while we made up some elephant food and fed them. We even got to go into their enclosure and interact with them and their keepers / guardians. Fabulous experience and hugely well invested and carried out for the benefit of these incredible animals.

After searching hard for an ethical sanctuary decided on this place. And was absolutely not dissatisfied. The sanctuary is amazing. Our guide (Guitar) really was passionate about her work and the animals they care for. You get to make their food. Feed them. Then get up close and personal. But absolutely no bathing them or, even worse, riding them! And the food served at the end was really tasty. Pad Thai a-roy maak.

We booked the ticket via the hotel for 3,000THB including shared transportation to and from the sanctuary. It is a bargain at that price. Well worth the price.

I recently visited Elephant Kingdom Samui and had an excellent experience. The program is outstanding with a strong focus on the well-being of the elephants. The facility itself is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, attention given to the elephants is truly commendable. I highly recommend Elephant Kingdom Samui for anyone looking for an unforgettable and ethical elephant encounter.

Could not recommend this place highly enough, second time we have visited and will again next time we visit Samui.
Wonderful experience for both adults and children.
The staff are amazing and make you feel more than welcome as do the elephants if not only for the food. 😂😂
After visiting Samui many times and seeing the abuse of elephants it is refreshing to see that has pretty much stopped and places like this now offer a much nicer and kinder experience.
Don’t miss the opportunity if you are ever here!

I would add that anyone who has posted a one star review stating they paid $100+ to feed bananas and couldn’t get close to the elephants likely visited a different place, there are a few on the island !
Don’t be discouraged by their reviews they are incorrect 😀

You can feed them selfmade vitamine food, banana and special grass. Then u go for a walk with them. You get all personal stories of the Elephants and there past. De keepers are 24/7 watching and caring for them. It's a real Sanctuary, if u want to see them, go to this place, help them so they van safe more! They do not ride the Elephants and you see that they are good taken care off!

Food is good, the guide did a great job!

An absolute must when on Koh Samui. We loved this experience. The elephants are happy and they facilites everything to be as close to their natural habitat as possible. You get to feed the elephants and hug them. Would love to come back. Big shout out to our guide Bon, great job and lots of knowledge! Some good jokes too.

This was the best experience ever. From beginning to end the service and accommodations were unmatched. I celebrated my birthday here and they made sure to celebrate me as a “special guest”. Don’t worry about coming alone - i came alone and they will make you feel at home. I definitely will come back.

Worth every cent! Wouldn’t even mind contributing more after hearing the stories of each rescued elephants and their keepers who devote their life to these magnificent animals. Our guide Guita spoke supergood English and knew interesting facts about elephants lives. Professional and friendly! I like that the animals’ interest were put first - not touching every elephant, respecting them. I would definitely come back!

This is how I imagine rescued work with animals... no circus show, but let the elephants live, take care of them and the reward for the visitors is a close contact... beautiful work, beautiful idea, congratulations
