Suchanaree is a cozy, original accommodation surrounded by nature. Not only ideal for people who want to go to Ko Chang - Ko Mak or Ko Kut. It's worth staying at Nuchanaree for a few days to explore the area. The owner Oom speaks good English and will provide you with ferry tickets at normal prices, bring you to the pier and give you all the important informations. If necessary, she also picks up her guests from Bangkok by private car at an unbeatable price.

Beautifully simple wooden cabins nestling in a mangrove forest near the Koh Chang Ferry crossing. The success of Suchanaree lies with Oom, the joyful owner who is welcoming and kind, full of local information, and takes such pride in her homestay. She has a cat called "Cheer up" who is delightful. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the end of November 2021. Everything was very nice and proper, but the real high-light is the fantastic staff including the wonderful owner who goes out of her way to make this an enjoyable stay. It seemed perfectly natural that she drive us to pier to catch the ferry, but we felt it was a very special favor. Thanks again and good luck!

We needed a quiet, lush green place to stay in Trat during our in between travels from Trat to Koh Chang and this place is a good find in that area. We were surrounded by mangrove trees, lots of fishes and a kind, helpful host.

If one needs to extend their visas in Trat and/or pass some documents in offices there, then we really recommend this place for it is near the offices.

One can also jog, brisk walk or walk with their dogs along a green, quieter and long local street. There is a small shop across it for your needs. The resort offered us hot water, coffee, teas and cookies in the morning while we enjoy the silence watching the fishes.

There are local restaurants around the area with affordable meal prices that one can enjoy. I loved the seashells I had, cooked in tomato spicy sauce. Yum!

What made our stay special there was the kind, friendly and very helpful owner. She was there for us to answer our questions.

We would definitely be picking up this same hotel again once we find our way back in Laem Ngop, Trat.

We booked this accommodation because we could not get the ferry to Koh Chang. We found there a little paradise. Located in the middle of a mangrove forest, traditionally Thai furnished, the small House are lovingly designed. the owners Aek and Oom gave us a very warm welcome. It felt like a homestay. We highly recommend this resort.

Great place to stay and relax in Laem Ngop.
Clean and tidy bungalows with comfortable beds hot water and air-con.
The hotel is located near the Laem Ngop pier, where you can take a boat to the neighbouring islands of Koh Chang, Koh Mak, Koh Kood, Koh Wai; so a good option for catching early morning boat and they will drop you to the pier.
The owner Oom is very friendly and helpful and will do everything to help make your stay perfect.
She can help you with boat bookings to the islands or travel to other parts of Thailand and can also arrange pick up/drop off at the airport.
The Hotel is also very close to the Emigration office.
Great breakfast with fresh coffee and they can organise meals either cooked on the premises or ordered from restaurants close-by which can be delivered.
if you are interested in doing a Thai cookery course can also be arranged.
Highly recommended.

Wonderful stop over accomodation with comfy beds, aircon and a scenic view out of the bedroom window. Perfect place to wake up to after a late arrival and a long 2 days of travel.

The hosts are so accomodating and very welcoming. We arrived late and the host, Om very kindly drove us to get dinner and then picked us up afterwards. I would highly recommend Suchanaree as a stop over in Trat / Laem Ngop. Basic, yet comfortable and welcoming. Thank you for having us :)

Small resort with good view of mangrove forest. This resort are next to blacksand beach. You can enjoy walking around the mangrove forest or have blacksand spa with the sun set view. It can provide new experience of mangrove forest travelling.
