Chiang Mai Chaloem Phrakiat Park

Flowers in the park are so beautiful. Even though I don't know much about flowers, I love it. Around the park, walking lane is beautiful and there are many benches and to sit and rest. Outside the park is market and many food stalls. But it's a little far away from the city based on where you live around 10-15 km. Grab is available around the park. I'm sure if you love the flowers, this is the place to go. By the way winter flower festival is starting from December and ending in January but I don't know the exact date.

The park entrance is about a 2-minute walk from the parking lot.
Both parking and admission are free.

There are many different types of flowers and they are blooming so beautifully that it can be thought of as an artificial flower.^^
It looks like they are taking really good care of flowers.

We visited during the day, and although the weather was cool, the sunshine was strong, so I recommend bringing a parasol.

It was nice during the day, but it would be even better if you visit at night because there are a lot of LED light installations everywhere.

Stunning park filled with flowers and exquisite decor. The Christmas season was filled with fireworks and shows. We also appreciated the complimentary activities and food vendors.

Lots of beautiful flowers. It is a paradise for hobby photographers who like flower photography. I made a couple of hundred photos with my system camera.

Apparently, there was a flower festival about a month ago. The event has ended but there are still some beautiful flowers there. When I was there, I saw some workers removing the equipment/racks meant for the festival. I saw some people fishing at the pond next to the park as well.

Overall, it is still a nice place to chill and relax while enjoying the view.

We went to the Flower Festival on Saturday on 7 January. Amazing. We went in the afternoon so we saw the flowers in daylight and then lit up with the light displays. Really good.

Charming Chiang Mai Flower and Light festival going on now until January 2, 2023. Go in the late afternoon to see the gorgeous flowers then stay until nightfall for the seasonal light display.

Large parking area, plenty of food available and several music performance stages.

So the 2022 Chiang Mai flower festival. Just down the road from 700 stadium. If you haven't been well worth a visit. Decided to go for the dusk/ night session to capture the lights. Amazing work that has done into the floats flowers and set up for the event. Plenty of food stalls around. Well worth a visit.

We've been here twice to the "Charming Flower Festival". One time during the day the other time in the evening. Especially in the evening with all the colourful lights, the illuminated flowers and trees, it's so beautiful and absolute worth the visit. Besides there are a lot of food stalls, live music, shows (musical fountain show) etc. Highly recommend.

I love the flowers! It’s so beautiful and calm! Also there are a lot of spots where you can take photos for instagram.

There's no entrance fee and there are a lot of things to do here. You could see different kinds of flowers and there's also a market. It's peaceful and warm. A great place to spend your afternoon. It is far from the old city.

Flower festivals happen here every year, they even had light shows the previous year, very well designed and the lighting were well placed. It will be a flower paradise
