Stopped for a night on my way to Ko Chang. Located in charming downtown area in Trat, this is a newly renovated 5 room boutique hotel owned and operated by a friendliest and mild mannered gentleman. First of all, City of Trat deserves a revisit for few days of exploring as it seems to be a old quint city contrast to huge popular destination like Pattaya, Bangkok, etc. Hotel is no frill basic stay. For its room rate you get your money’s worth from location, clean room, and hospitality from caring owner.
Very close to huge morning wet market selling local seafood, meat, produce and other culinary items.
Recommend highly.

Mr Tuu was a very pleasant host. He organized the transport from the airport to the hotel as well as the transport from the hotel to the pier. He showed us on the map where good nearby restaurants were and offered us his help during our whole stay in Thailand. If we are ever coming back to Trat we will definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for one night. The host Tuu was really nice and helped us getting a transport from airport to his hotel and the other day from the hotel to the pier. He showed us in depth where we can go in trat to get a nice dinner and also the area. Rooms were very big and clean. Bed was a bit on the harder side but still very comfortable. No pool. No breakfast. And yet 5 stars? How come?
Location is great - many places are in walking distance, including the famous Trat market. Talking about markets - every Saturday, a night market takes place right in front of the hotel.
The rooms are *extremely* clean, very spacious and fairly quiet, although noise-sensitive guests like myself are better off with ear plugs. The bed is 6 foot wide and sports a very comfortable mattress. The interior is nicely decorated, as you would expect from a boutique hotel.
You can get an excellent coffee from an Italian coffee maker, classic style. We ordered a delicious iced caffe latte, and surprisingly, it came for free as our welcome drink.
By far the best, however, is Tuu, the hotel owner. He truly rips himself apart to serve you with tons of advice and tips about where-to-go‘s. He organized a scooter for 3 days at 300 THB (yepp, for all three days). He managed the transport to and from the hotel, and he is a great guy to having a chat with. Plus, he was available all time, e.g. via WhatsApp.
All in all, I can‘t think of anything I missed or find displeasing, but I went away with one of the finest experiences you can have in Trat.

We stayed in Rimklong Boutique Hotel in Trat either side of our trip to Koh Chang. It was good to catch up with our lovely host Tuu on the second visit because we enjoyed his company so much on the first. His small hotel is contemporary and very stylish and he has a very good eye for design. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The bed linen is great quality. Tuu is a fantastic host and we loved chatting with him. He makes great coffee as well. Tuu took us to the train station for our onward journey. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Trat. Tuu is truly a super host.

I reserved a room here for my parents. This is their second journey together. I must add that everything about this place was quite good. For them, it was the perfect size and extremely comfortable and clean. My parents were warmly welcomed by Khun Too, the owner, and every member of staff. My parents had an interesting trip thanks to Khun Too's recommendations for the area's eateries and other attractions. I want to thank Khun Too and his entire staff for taking such amazing care of my parents, and I want to tell everyone about this lovely hotel. You will receive a discount if you make your reservation directly with the hotel. ☺

Everything was perfect. The room was confortable, clean and very cosy. The manager Tuu was very helpful and nice. They serve french breakfast with brioche toast (butter and jam) and excellent coffee (cappuccino was really great) at their coffee shop. The whole place is very charming. We enjoyed very much our stay. We recommend 100%. Mr. Tuu speaks English, it is easy to call and book a room directly with him. Thank you again and we hope to come again. Best of luck.

The host Tuu was very nice. Although we arrived late, he waited for us and gave us a lot of useful information about the hotel and the area around. He also took great care of our departure to the pier for our onward boat trip. The hotel room was really nice, clean and the bed was very comfortable

Sometimes in life you meet someone who is a kind, caring and beautiful soul. Tuu is one of those souls. I stayed in Trat 3 weeks ago at the hotel then as a now solo traveller knew when I was heading back from Cambodia I would head back that way. Tuu sorted me a room via WhatsApp which was as immaculate as the last time. My flight from BKK was at midnight, so he organised transport and gave me a late check out.
There had been a crash on the motorway so my pick up was delayed. Tuu ensured I kept my room, made sure I had transport and looked after me.
The cleanest hotel I've been in EVER, beautiful decor, an amazing Saturday night market outside, comfiest bed in Thailand, TV, fridge, kettle, but the one thing that made my stays was Tuu.
I will definitely return to stay!

This is the nicest city hotel I ever stayed at during my countless trips to Thailand in the past 25 years.
Not only the rooms are so beautiful, each in a different style and so tasteful decorated, spacious and clean, and so well equipped with all you need. Breakfast is delicious, too, and the coffee selection fantastic!
But the greatest of all is Tuu (Tooh), the owner!
Had an issue with immigration about my 90 day reporting...he fixed it, calling them 3 times to clarify the misunderstanding.
Needing a simple blood test and not wanting to spend 5000 Baht in the Bangkok Hospital Trat...he personally took me in his car to a small clinic, getting me what I need for 600 Baht!
Such a wonderful host, always helpful and running his place with a real passion and a true sense for customer service.
There are many cheaper places to stay in Trat but I will always go back to Rimklong Boutique Hotel.

The accommodation is very nice, clean and modern. In fact the entire place is pristine.

It is very close to the centre of town and markets, but just far enough to enjoy some peace and relaxation.

There is a small coffee shop in the front where you can also grab a cocktail🍸

Simply perfect for a guest house. Nice and clean. Well look after by the host (Tuu).
If you are spending a night or two in Trat, I would recommend this. Its close to the local market And its in the center of Trat old town. You can walk around and enjoy the surrounding there. Trat people is also nice, kind and welcoming.

It is the nice place to leave your life from the chaos in big city. Clean room, friendly staff, the owner takes care and manage the hotel by himself. So he cares about all details and takes care of his clients very closely. If you want to know well about local background, you can ask him or everyone around here how the local people life is. Because they grow up here and they are ready to share the history of their community.
