Not really sure that this place is open and doing business. I know this island pretty good and have not heard about kayak rentals here...but alas I will check it out and report.
UPDATE: I visited this place Oct 2019 and it appears that in fact has Canoes and other stuff in and around it. I did not see anyone there during my visit and the activity board looked dated and not saying anything about opening day or activity plans.
You may want to phone in advance ( or have someone contact them for you ) if you want enjoy some canal canoe trip as I did see that they have a 4 km trip posted that they do (or have done in the past).
