Medjez-el-Bab War Cemetery

It was a very emotional visit for my family and I to this cemetery as my father’s Uncle is buried in this grave site. We are very proud of my Grand-Uncle Sgt. Jack Middleton 1st Bn. Irish Guards, KIA 27th April 1943. The cemetery was absolutely immaculate in its condition. We met the staff on site and thanked them for the truly dedicated work they have put in to keep the location somber, beautiful and a fitting tribute to the young men who gave the ultimate sacrifice. The CWGC really undertake amazing work and we are very happy to know our uncle is being looked after in such a fitting manner.

We visited with friends, and there Uncle had died in the campaign, with the help of the staff we found his grave, a very moving moment to say the least.
