I had my best day here choosing this restaurant. During Ramadan I didn’t really eat well as tourist because no restaurant was open in small cities, and I have to respect not to eat during daytime. Finally I had my last meal here, I was crying to be happy. The traditional food here was so good and so spicy which I love! Perfect staff and super clean kitchen!

It’s a very hidden place and not so easy to find from a tourist point of view, but believe me it’s worth walking there. Amazing traditional food cooked by the chef himself in a small and cozy restaurant. Very friendly service and absolutely outstanding choice of food. We are happy to have found this place online. Please go and try for yourself. Best food in Tunisia so far.

Fantastic food and a very clean place.
We had couscous with octopus, salads, and some pasta with meatballs for our little one. Very spicy 🔥 but delicious!

Please please go there. Super clean (all the servers are even wearing hygiene hats), super attentive servers, cool owner, extreme good food, i went twice in 3 days since it’s the best in the village (bleue is also good). The Kamounia de poulpe was impeccable. Enjoy the meal!

It's a quite small restaurant, it has like three or four tables , I've ordered a couscous & octopus 🐙, it was spicy and delicious but had to drink lben to keep up with the spice , the portion was generous

Our absolute favourite place to go when we're back home with my Italian husband 🤗 I eat there as much as/ or maybe more times than I eat at my parents house. Authentic Tunisian dishes (as they were made by my grandmother), top quality ingredients, the owner is so welcoming. We'll be back soon !!

Authentic Tunisian food. Pretty delicious and tasty. The place is tiny but they have outdoor seating. Only cash payments but prices are really low and the quality is high. Lovely owner speaks French and Italian too. The ojja was delicious but I believe that the cous cous with octopus is their specialty. Easy going and quick if you don’t fancy a formal dinner in a restaurant.

Excellent authentic Tunisian food, the owner (Mr Emad) is the son of Mofida (the name means over Mofida’s son), they make home made authentic Tunisian food. Lovely owner and takes his time explaining. I got the Kamounia Poulpe (seafood mix, Octopus and Prawns in Tunisian red sauce) and Trio de salade, everything was delicious. It’s not fancy, tables in the street, but authentic local experience

It was a bit surprising because the shop was quite small, but the taste was amazing!

We also took salad and soup in addition to the main food, and that too was sooooooo tasty!!!! We recommend this restaurant very much☺

The owner is so kind, & Jean Gabin (his assistant chef) is lovely.

The food is really incredible, with some traditional Tunisian dishes (and a sprinkle of Belgium influence with great french fries).

Perfect spot to have a quick bite with some friends or take it to go back to your Riyadh.

We had a great experience in this little precious restaurant. Bouda's kitchen is just fantastic and he is a great host. As he heard we were Italian he put Italian music on and we had a great time chatting and eating as if we were at home. The restaurant is little with an open kitchen, it is spotless and offers great traditional Tunisinian plates with a very good value for money. We had a delicious spicy octopus stew and meatballs with spinach. We higly recommend this restaurant, better make a reservation especially in the low season when there are not the tables outside.

We were looking for traditional food for days and no did get any thing good, but this one change it, it was amazing chef, cute restaurant, and delicious food.

If you're looking for an authentic spot, go here. It's a small room where the kitchen area takes up half the indoor space. The staff were incredibly hospitable. I ordered the "ojja crevettes" (shrimp with red sauce) and others ordered the octopus with cus cus. Food was spot on. Place was clean and well kept.

Absolutely in love with everything here. Just go. Order without inhibition! Feels like someone’s home that you’ve accidentally stumbled in and you’re more than invited.
