This is a definite must while in Pumenkale. To think that you are swimming in the same waters where Cleopatra swam thousands of years ago is pure magic. Apparently the warm waters have healing properties.

This is a miraculous place located inside the ruins of Hierapolis; modern day Pamukkale, Denizli. A naturally occurred swimming pool made from carbonate rich warm waters which shaped the travertine terraces of Pamukkale. Water here considered as therapeutic since the ancient times, and many come to not only enjoy but find remedy. This is truly an experience.

Facilities are clean and nice. Food is good. Staff is very helpful. Highly recommended.

Wow! I can't even begin to describe how incredible this hot water pool is! It's absolutely amazing! The warmth of the water and the soothing sensation it provides are truly a delight. It's like a little slice of paradise right here. I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to experience such a wonderful creation. It's just pure bliss!

Would really recommend in winter. The experience is basically like swimming in a private pool. Its thermal waters still keep you warm even if it is a little colder on the outside. 200TL for a swim and 20TL deposit for a locker. Changing rooms and bathrooms available nearby.

Best experience in turkey.
I've spent 3 hours in there with my girlfriend.
Take your own towels or buy one there.
Flipflops are also welcome to avoid cold floor
The water is unbelievably good. We came out so so relaxed...

This must be done if you are in Pamukkale. The water has magic power. Take towels, flip flops etc. I recommend this place during the spring as I can't believe how crowded it can get in the summer. In January it was only 9 C but we enjoyed it.

One of its kind the Cleopatra’s Pool, also known as the Cleopatra Antique Pool, is a UNESCO World Heritage. The pool’s stone design is nestled within an exotic landscape. An earthquake knocked down many of the columns, which now rest within the pool giving it an ancient feel.

The best part of the experience of the visit to Pamukale. Clear what, beautiful color and specially warm water perfect for the chill weather of November. It costs 200 lira extra but was worth it

This is real ancient pool not artificial! Pool price seems expensive but infact it is not due to crowded that everyone wants to swim there. İt's very unique pool and experience. But I have to say that in side there is a expensive restaurant you need to bring your snack and water. The pool water is hot spring water and also you can drink from the well not from the pool not clean for drink that you can swim of course.

Nice place to stop by for a relaxing hour while visiting Pamukkale site. The thermal water is very warm and clean. We went there around 08:30AM on a weekday and it was already quite the few people and it was getting very crowded by 10am.
There are quite many changing cabins, lockers where you can keep your stuff while swimming (you should have cash for locker returnable deposit).
There is just one pool actually, one side of the pool is more deep and another ones are suitable for everyone including kids. It is super comfy to sit on the ancient columns in the warm water and relax.
And afterwards there is a shower (however with a cold water) where you can wash yourself.
Bear in mind that there is an entry through the special gate to the pool where you have to scan your ticket right before jumping into a water. You cannot take your phone with you to the water (it is forbidden 🚫).
I would recommend going with water shoes as it is much more comfortable that way and not slippery then.

Totally worth the extra money to swim where people have been swimming for thousands of years. Not to mention, the sunk ruins as part of the floor of the spring. Magical.

The entrance is free but you should pay 32 TL to access the pool. The water is sparkling. And you litterally swim over pieces of antique buildings. Many Russian tourists. I advise you enter as early as possible to avoid the rush.
