Pamukkale travertine parking

If you want to see the ruins as well, Start at the north gate (the farthest gate entrance) of Pamukkale- therefore you don’t need to double back - walk from north entrance all the way to south entrance, which is within walking distance to town centre.

We started around 130pm from north gate, and reached the water part around 4pm. This is perfect timing as we caught the sunset as we made our way down.

After the ticket, cart is available to take you up costs 6TL per person one way.
Better to take that instead of 2.1km walk uphill in scorching sun.
Downside on the road u will get good hotels for meals.

Tons of parking available. Cost is 10 lira. No complaints. Admission is 50 lira, and then 50 more if you want to go into the ancient pools.

A tip for visiting the travertines: go in the evening! Catching the sunset is beautiful there. It's breathtaking! There are few people there, so you aren't dealing with tourists while you explore.

If you're going to stay past sunset, it's not a bad idea to bring a flashlight on your walk back to the car.

Very wide parking place. Not expensive. You can walk to the main attraction from there or you can rent a mini bus, which is also not expensive.

Plenty of space and it cost 10 TL but it's a long walk to the travertine. I'd recommend that you use the south parking space instead which is only 5 TL and then walk up and down the travertine insteads. That is a lot more convenient and less walking in the end.

if you go to Pamukkale, please go by foot to the travertines , is not that far to go by their bus , and a big PLUS is that you see a lot of ruins on your way to the travertines (the blue waters)
