It was one of my best experiences in Ankara city. There was a dining hall where anyone who wanted to drink tea or coffee could get it for free. There was a special room for Turkish books and books from other nations in different languages.

There was a safe on the lower floor, which was for Turkish students or international students living in Turkey. Soup and bread were also served at the appointed times for free also you can buy something like nuts and etc. There was silence and a special and very beautiful atmosphere in the main halls and side halls, which makes everyone wonderful feeling, that I have not seen the same in my country or in other parts of Turkey. Some halls were open twenty-four hours a day. Entry here is free for tourists with a passport. You can eat your cake and tea here for free at 12 pm and read your favorite book as long as you want. It was an amazing experience for me to be in such a complete archive and comprehensive library.

My visit to The Presidential Library in Ankara was nothing short of awe-inspiring.
The Library in Ankara is not just a repository of books; it's a testament to the enduring quest for knowledge and understanding.
For anyone seeking to expand their horizons and delve into the depths of human thought, this library is an indispensable resource and a haven for intellectual exploration.

Peaceful environment. You can also have free tea and coffee. They also offer free food in evenings and mornings. İnternet speed is also great.

The Nation’s Library
First-Ever Biggest Library of Turkey

Nation’s Library known as Cumhurbaskanlıgı Millet Kutuphanesi is the first-ever biggest Library of Turkey presented by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, which will serve 7/24 with inspirations from great Seljuk Empire, Ottoman and contemporary architecture in the capital of Turkey Ankara.

The construction work began in 2015 with the direction President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan by covering 125 thousand-square-meter area. It has the capacity to serve 5,000 people at the same time. It is the largest single library investment in the history of the republic, serves people of all ages. As well as there are special sections for children, students, researchers and İndividual studying parts are available which is an innovative way of developing knowledge. Tea, coffee and simit services are free.

The National Library is a research and study place with it's extensive sources.
It is possible to scan sources without going to the Library. For this, you can go to the website of the "Milli Kütüphane" and use the scanning program called "Kaşif".
You can reserve the sources you want. If you choose the day and time you want, your reserved sources will be waiting for you at the office when you go to the Library.
You cannot take the books out. However, you can photocopy some of them within the legal limits. There is a small stationery inside for this.
There is a canteen on the ground floor for lunch and small snacks.
The Library also has a masjid and clean toilets.
I don't recommend you to come here with your private car because of the parking problem. Besides you can come very easily by public transportaioton. It is very easy to come, especially by metro.
