Faralya Guest House

A peaceful place to stay in Faralya village. A family run establishment. The view is great, the rooms are clean, breakfast and dinner are delicious. There are great things to do and great places to visit around the village within a maximum of 45 minutes. Highly recommended.

Generally I don't write public comments, but it's a business that deserves praise in every sense. As local tourists, we stayed for five nights with my friend, it was engraved in our memories with its friendly hosts, cleanliness, delicious food, and beauty. After visiting the area and seeing other venues, we felt lucky to stay in the business of this honest and welcoming family. We would definitely stay again. The best chef in the area may be living here=)

A place with soul, where we would come back for sure! Very friendly hosts, speaking perfect English, tasty dinner and breakfast with homemade products (both included in price), relaxing music and nice view! Rooms are clean, and from balcony you can enjoy mountains!

I’m a traveler from Korea and I have to tell you that this is the very first time that I leave a review for anything. This is how much I love this guesthouse!!

I stayed here for two nights, which felt too short, and I’ll state the best parts of this place among many.

First off, the staffs are very sweet. There is a man(forgive me that I forgot your name!) who is very fluent in English and communicative. He introduced every bit of the area very kindly and served us with care. Also, there are two lovable ladies in the kitchen. Though we didn’t speak languages that the other speaks, I could tell they were welcoming us.

Also, we can’t talk about this place without mentioning their FABULOUS dinner. I didn’t know that dinner was included and it was, and it was a happy surprise. The staff kindly welcomed us to the dinner and it was the most authentic, delicious Turkish food I had in Turkey for two weeks. It seemed like they have different menus each day and I loved literally everything from their appetizer to dessert. At the very last night of our trip, my husband and I asked each other what was the best food we had in Turkey for two weeks, we both picked one or two dishes from this place! His was tomato soup with fresh cheese and mine was sea bream(the best fish I had in my entire life) and rice pudding. Yum!!! I already miss their food. I thank the people in the kitchen for letting us experience the REAL, AUTHENTIC TURKISH FOOD. We had chances to have similar food at different places but nothing was as good as theirs.

Last but not least, we LOVED the way to the guesthouse. It was THE best trip I’ve ever had. Unpaved road, beautiful mountains and ocean for a surprise. The clean guesthouse with accommodating staff was the best present for us after the adventure.

To the staff: Thanks SO MUCH for giving me a new experience of raving about something. And you have to make sure to tell the ladies in the kitchen how much I love your food in Turkish for me!

We have loved this quiet place, breakfast is delicious and very rich.
We have literally obsessed Emre and his family with request about food and information on activity and site to visit (thank you Emre you’r a really patient house holder. :)

An amazing place to take a well deserved break. The room was spotless and inviting. The dinner was modified vegan for myself, and every morsel was delicious. The room with a view, also had the most lovely fragrance whifting in from the breeze outside. İd highly recommend this place based on value, service, ambiance, and flavor.

Nice room in a beautiful location for stopping on the lycian way, lovely staff and a solid dinner and breakfast and a perfect place to stop for a beer. Excellent Turkish coffee!

Excellent location at the top of butterfly valley and close to the Lycian Way. Delicious five course supper and full Turkish breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Relaxing shaded deck under thick grape vines with garden like grounds. We very much enjoyed the respite after a long day hiking.

The nicest and warmest welcome after a long day of hiking, paired with a cold beer and absolutely incredible service from the staff with dinner and breakfast. Far exceeded my expectations. 10/10 would recommend if you’re hiking the Lycian Way

3 nights here and really enjoyed it. Comfortable, good views and friendly people who know what they are doing. Had dinner on 3 nights, set menu and really good fresh cooked food, we loved it. Great value. We are sorry to leave.

Amazing breakfast, stunning view, friendly staff

Bora, the owner of this place is amazing, going above and beyond. Since it was a low season we had an option to choose any room we wanted. Rooms are nice, clean and if you choose one, with an amazing view to the butterfly valley. The pool area is very cozy too.
The dinner and breakfast were included i the price for us and the food was amazing too.
We had a great refresh and carried on on the lycian way next day.

All you need after 6hrs hike, super clean room and hot shower. Very hospitable service and limitless tea/coffee while looking at beautiful faralya.

We had a fantastic dinner at the beautiful misafir evi restaurant. The food was super delicious and we enjoyed the familiar atmosphere and the beautiful view a lot. We highly recommend it.

Great experience in the middle of Butterfly Valley. Owners are really kind and offer a good rural Turkish experience.

A very pleasant stop on the Lycian Way for rest, food, and beautiful views. Highly recommended for those planning on pushing to Kabak Beach in the afternoon.
