Mevlid-i Halilulrahman Mağarası

I recently visited the Mevlid-i Halilulrahman Cave and was deeply moved by the experience. This historic site in Sanliurfa is not just a cultural exuberance but a spiritual treasure, rumored to be the birthplace of Prophet Ibrahim. The cave is well-maintained and illuminated, creating a serene atmosphere that fills you with a sense of peace. Inside, you can see religious books and sajjadas laid out, adding to the spiritual ambiance. The presence of a spring water source inside the cave is a highlight, with visitors often filling their bottles with this water, believed to be healing. What's more, there's a small mosque inside where you can pray, adding to the cave's tranquility. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking a deep cultural and spiritual experience in the heart of Sanliurfa

Religious historical destination, worth to visit and get to know something interesting. The place is located within the mosque in the Fish lake park.

A site believed to be the hiding place of Abraham
Abraham is the traditional site of the birthplace of Abraham and it is here that he is said to have been hidden from the wicked King Nimrod. It is a place of worship, at the foot of the castle hill. It can be entered through the courtyard of the mosque, and is split into two sections for men and women. There are queues to enter, as it is a very small area and popular with many pilgrims. It doesn’t take too long to see however.

This Cave is a must see when you visit Sanliurfa and the Balikli Gol area. The Prophet Abraham recognized from the 3 main religions, is said to be born in this cave and the water in the cave is considered as healthy after Zam Zam water.

The cave where Hazret Ibrahim AS came to the world. It is quite a great wonder, one worth seeing in life. Within its environs are mosque, islamic centres, urfa castle, etc.
