Harnup Camping

Walled garden style camping spot with very simpatico hosts.
It's easy to stay here an extra day or two if you're weary from hiking.
Lots of shade, some of which is provided by carob (harnup) trees.
Hotel standard shower and large kitchen space for preparing meals. Well behaved cats don't enter the kitchen while you cook.

By now the best camping which I saw. I could stay there days and days. Beach is in 5 min walk but the city is separated by the hill, so you will need to overpass it (with backpack it's a thing)!

Prices are suitable: 250 TL for 1 person (in 2023) only inconvenient that they don't accept credit cards.

good place for camping, after a long difficult journey it's like being in paradise with hot water, clean toilets and kitchen, the atmosphere itself is very pleasant, the place is beautiful and quiet. we recommend.

Comfortable camping on amazing natural place which very close to Mediterranean Coast. Most advantageous point is you can cook your own food. I have met with people from Russia, England, Italy and we have cook together many worldwide recipes.

Very nice owners they absolutely had everything you need while in a caravan and or camping .
We had a caravan we used the washing machine e , the kitchen the showers. They had water for us to refill our caravan and also empty the waste toliet we charged our solar panels as well as we were having trouble with the sun charging we could not have found a more friendly place to go to .

The best camping we stayed in so far. The owners are very nice people who help a lot with everything.

The owners offer a place for the tent in garden and can also provide you with the tent in case you don’t have yours. The camping has all necessities: a shower with hot water, kitchen with stove and fridge, so you won’t need to carry brazier.

They also have lounge area with nice music and fridge with various beverages you can buy without leaving the camping. The nearest beach is like 60 meters away, so overall the place is very convenient and cool.

I stayed here in September whilst walking the Lycian Way. The tent given was spacious and comfortable, with an inflatable mattress. There are plenty of toilets and showers, all spotlessly clean, also a kitchen with fridge and cooking facilities for customers’ use. There is complimentary tea throughout the day and the owner sells drinks at supermarket prices.

When I finished my walk in Antalya I got a bus back to Kaş to stay at Harnup again, this time for 5 days. The campsite is located on the Lycian Way, opposite Büyük Çakıl beach.

I am already looking at flights for 2023 so that I can stay here again.

Will you come to the front? It may not look like much. But once you walk around, you will see what a beautiful and a cozy place it is to stay. The kitchen, the bathroom everything is incredibly clean. And the staff is very well attentive to the needs of the customers. If I come back to this town I am definitely staying here again.

- AND a fantastatic breakfast (I think the best one I ate in Turkey so far ;)

We had been there for 3 nights with my wife. We had a great vacation during our stay, such as cleanliness, great location and helpful owner of camping. We would like to special thanks to Mr. Mehmet and Mrs. Zeliha for their cheerful behaviours. They have very good recommendations around in Kas. You can go camping with your tent or they have their own. They have also kitchen which well equipped. If you love animals, you will get crazy there for their lovely cats!!! :)

I was trekking Lycian way (had 12 days for it), and Kas was the last point on my itinerary.
This camping is the first one on your way, if you enter the town following Lycia yolu from the east. And its a good decision if you don't like crowds, city noise etc - it's located outside of the centre, near the nice beach (if your are a foreigner during the covid lockdown - maybe you'll be the only visitor watching the sun going down the sea in the evening). From here you can get to the centre in 20 min of walking.
There is enough space for your tent (it will be covered from the hot turkish sun in the shadow), you can charge your devices, use shower and cook your food on the kitchen. There is a fridge also.
The owner and the staff are super friendly.

P.s. But be afraid of the cats (kittens), if you don't hide your food, they can eat it :)
