Great, nay, fantastic Turkish craft beers available. Like other craft bars not all beers listed on the menu were in stock (common problem not limited to this bar) but there were still plenty of beers to try! Mistakenly left an expensive object behind and it was returned to me next day. Great staff! Will definitely be visiting again!

If you're looking for Turkish craft beer this is the best place in İzmir. They really make an effort to stock most of them at reasonable prices. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall it's a great place with great atmosphere, it'll keep you coming back. The food is also very good, best kokoreç I've ever had.

If you love great tasting beer then come here. They have a fridge full of beers from around the world, they can be pricey BUT, they have delicious craft beers from Turkey which are around 20-24 TL. The Falafel balls were big, delicious and filling. The vegetarian dish was interesting, served cold, which threw us off a bit but still very tasty. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. There was a musician setting up on a Thursday. Highly recommend this place.

Great pub, the best one if you'd like craft beer in İzmir. Staff speaks good English and is gentle and knowledgeable. Wide selection of local Turkish craft beers, and some international ones. They have Chimay, yeeeeh!

The best pub in Izmir for young people. Great variety of craft beer (the largest one I see in Izmir) and cozy atmosphere makes this place a great way to spend weekend evening. Also, a large community of Russian-speaking people hanging out here as well.

If you are looking for craft beer and good food, this is the place. We are so happy we stumbled upon rePUBlic. We had been looking for a place for craft brew our whole time in Turkey and this place has it all. The service was great, good music, good vibe, wish we found it on our first day in Izmir and not our last.

Finally, a place that loves craft beer and a bartender who understands IPAs!! We were just about to write off Turkey for beer, and then found Republic of Happy People!! And we are now happy!

Excellent selection of Turkish craft beer as well as other world brews. If you’re looking for American beers, you have a choice of Bud or Miller.

Great selection of craft beers from izmir, turkey, and the rest of the World. Very friendly, English speaking staff helped us discover some local microbreweries.
