Hacı bayram is a good place to visit and pray. Inside of the mosque is beautiful and there is lot of wooden architecture inside the mosque.
The courtyard of the mosque is very big with a view of the Ankara city on one side and Ankara castle on the other side.
Near to Haci bayram there are a lot of souvenir shops and gift shops where you can buy things for you and your family.
If you get tired you can eat there also. It has lot of good restaurants and cafés.
Connectivity is good by metro as well as otobüs.
You can also take dolmuş to reach here.
It has a good history. One should definitely visit this mosque.

Came to visit this mosque and spend the day out with the family on this Sunday. The kids enjoyed the day and had a lot of fun. We were able to pray and get something to eat. All in all it was quality time and spiritual experience. We were able to come by car and it has free of charge underground parking.

Haci Bayram Mosque is the most spiritual place in Ankara. The mosque and the neighbourhood are beautiful inside and outside, day and night. It is very historical. The propery is very clear. Thanks to the restoration it has a fresh look and live all the time. In summer times, you can listen to music next to small pools... Ablution facilities are also very good. Just it can be better using paper towel.

The oldest mosque in the city. There is a tomb of Haci bayram next to the mosque. Ruins dating back over 2000 years are also situated within the main square.
The platform on which the who area is built provides excellent views of the city and the Ankara Castle.

Large and beautiful old mosque, yet felt very modern with escalators and plenty of space. Wudu/WC facilities are free but no paper towels. Roman ruins onsite and an amazing view of the city

Hacı Bayram Veli Mosque is a mosque in Ankara. Along with Kocatepe Mosque it is one of the best known mosques in Ankara. Hacı Bayram Mosque was built during the Ottoman Empire period. It was named after the Turkish Sufi and poet Hacı Bayram-ı Veli on behalf of the latter. Hacı Bayram Mosque is one of the touristic places of Ankara.[1] The site was added in 2016 to the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Turkey.

A great scholar and friend of Allah, Haci Bayram Veli-ul Allah. His tomb is situated right under the minaret and the mosque named after him, Haci Bayram. The environment and atmosphere can simply not be explained in plain words. The mosque is situated in the busy and dangerous area of Ankara, Ulus but this great scholar's mosque gives to me a feeling of self realization and contentment. May his perfect soul rest in Allah's Mercy, Compassion and Light of Muhammed Rasullullah SAW.

I recently had the privilege of visiting this mosque, and I am truly awestruck by the experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped in an atmosphere that can only be described as enchanting. The architecture and design of the mosque are breathtaking, creating a serene and captivating ambiance.

However, what truly sets this mosque apart is its people. The sense of community and warmth exuded by the individuals I met there was simply remarkable. Everyone I encountered was not only friendly and welcoming, but their genuine passion for fostering connections and sharing their faith was palpable.

The prayers and gatherings I attended were a testament to the unity and spirituality that this mosque cultivates. The devotion of the congregants was inspiring, and the sense of peace and tranquility that washed over me during my time there was truly unparalleled.

Mashallah, the overall experience was nothing short of amazing. The mosque provides a space for reflection, growth, and connection that is second to none. Whether you’re seeking a place to deepen your spirituality, engage with a diverse and caring community, or simply find solace in a serene environment, this mosque is an absolute gem.
