Honey Hotel

Rooms were very clean. Service was exceptional with a smile. Bekir went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. Hotel managers and Bekir treated us like family and friends. Breakfast was good. We recommend this hotel.

Our stay at the Honey Hotel exceeded our expectations! The staff was really helpful and incredibly kind. They bumped us up to a better room with no extra cost, as they didn't want us to stay in the small room we had booked. The room was very comfortable, with air conditioning and hot water all the time and in general very clean. The breakfast is served in a restaurant close by, and the staff there was also nice. Breakfast options were a little limited but enough to last you through the day, which was the point anyway.
All in all we had a great stay at this hotel, especially considering the price we had paid, and we are glad we didn't trust the reviews we had seen on Google.

Small hotel and rooms, but big enough for what it’s needed and with great location. Bekir was really nice and the attention was great. The breakfast is in a restaurant near the hotel and it’s very good. All together, recommended.

We booked a room for two people at the Honey Hotel based on reviews, with our main criterion being a convenient location. We took the HVIST-12 bus from Istanbul airport to Aksaray and then a taxi to the hotel. The same method was used to get back to the airport, with the receptionist helping us to get a taxi. The hotel is within walking distance of Hagia Sophia, only a 5-minute walk away, and the tram stop is not far. The interior of the room was tasteful, clean, and tidy. However, it is necessary to remind the cleaning lady about cleaning your room in the morning. Breakfast was served in a restaurant next to the hotel, and everything was very tasty. The hotel and restaurant staff were very hospitable and friendly.
In the bathroom we had a hair dryer, and they provided us with shampoos, shower gels, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and some other useful things. They had a kettle and provided us with coffee, tea, and sugar, but I would recommend replacing disposable paper cups in the room as they leaked when filled with hot water. Our room had a built-in bidet toilet. Wi-Fi was available both on our floor and in the lobby. The TV had no Wi-Fi but had Turkish language channels, which is good if you're learning Turkish and want to practice your listening skills.

In our room, we found only two sockets: one at the entrance behind the door and the other next to the refrigerator and kettle. If there are two of you, you will most likely have to give up using the refrigerator or kettle if you need to charge devices. I would recommend replacing the plastic hooks on the bathroom door with more durable metal ones. There is a shelf above the toilet where you can place wet laundry after washing, but the laundry does not have time to dry overnight.

I would not recommend this hotel for families with small children due to the lack of an elevator and narrow stairs. Overweight people may also find the compactness of the room and shower challenging. The noise insulation was average, so it is advisable to take earplugs with you as the area is densely populated and can be noisy at night.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel to those who lead an active, mobile lifestyle and move around a lot, for whom the lack of an elevator and the compactness of the room will not be a problem.

First of all am saying a big thanks to Mr Ahmet who is very helpful not to only me but any guest who needs help,he is very kind and generous, the hotel very clean and at a very good location that makes you access to all historical places in Sultan Ahmet, i am recomending this place for all my fellow travellers.

Great location and great staff. The staff here speak a few languages, and were kind and helpful. The place is a great budget hotel and is cozy. If you're looking for fancy, this isn't it, but if you're looking for a safe, cozy, centrally located hotel, this is it.

I had a reservation in the hotel which I had to cancel. The hotel mistakenly charged my card for the full amount of stay. Once I contacted them, they were extremely supportive throughout. Their bank couldn’t process refund after 14 days, so they offered alternative solution to give my money back. I was really impressed by their cooperation. I am just a guy from another country and there are lots of stories about hotels scamming or deceiving tourists. For this alone, the hotel deserve 5 star.

I visited Istanbul first time and stayed in this hotel. Nice, friendly staff, always smiling, ready to help, hospitable😍 Breakfast was delicious. And of course room was very clean which is important for me👍 Definitely recommend this hotel, you won't regret❤❤❤

First of all, 5 Stars is given for the price and super central location.
The rooms are very small (you get what you pay for), but clean. For typical backpacker-hostel is missing the kitchen and more room, but if you are just there to sleep on a small Budget it's more than ok. (the rest depend in your roommates ;))

I loved it. The host are the greatest ever and I was so lucky to find this place. They make the best for you to stay comfortable and to solve anything is in their hands to do.
They are the best, so far.

I stayed here for a week, enjoyed every minute of it, the manager and the staff were very helpful from the minute I got there until I left and helped me in changing my room to the upper floors.

Nice, clean and Mujahid and the rest of the staff were very nice! It was also very close to the sites such as Aya Sofia and Blue Mosque.

They were very nice and was quite cheap. Had a quick mix up but they solved the problem very fast. It is a 10 min walk to many of the touristy areas.

Close to all main places lovely places clean and people there ready to help you for your requests we higly recommend this place we will stay there again surely !!!
