Hakikat Kirtasiye

Came here looking for miniature and model kit painting supplies. They have all sorts of brushes, paints (acrylic, oil, gouache and more), and inks. Was really surprised by the stock and the very good prices! Definitely recommend this shop if you're a model builder, you can find a lot of basic painting and building supplies. There's also a small diorama section with basics like floss, glue, mosaic etc. For the stationary addicts this is a bit of a corner of heaven too: pens, notebooks, all kinds of paper and drawing supplies, office supplies etc.. There's also a kids section with books and arts supplies for children.

Didn't pay by card, I had cash, so not sure if that's improved. But the service was great, staff was welcoming and friendly so they must have made a change there!

You can ONLY pay cash, so be prepared. I don't understand why people complain so much about it, tho. They have good deals compared to the market, and I believe that's because of no credit card policy.

If you come by marmaray take the cagloglu exit,exit 3. You'll see the stationary right on the left. If you leave from the Sirkeci Gar, get ready for a hike.

My go-to place for all stationery needs in Istanbul. They have everything you can ever imagine, both low-end and high-end products. All of the workers were kind and helpful, despite not really being able to communicate in English. Just keep in mind that they don't accept credit cards.

It's a wonderful store. All art supplies are available. The only problem is that they only accept cash.

Excellent art supplies shop. By mistake I bought tubes of gouache instead of water colour (I was in a hurry), but they happily changed them. Their watercolour paper is very good and I returned today to get some more in a larger size.

You can find almost all your stationery, find many materials related with arts, be cautious, No credit card, Cash only

The only downsides: Most of the time it's too crowded and they only accept cash.

Other than that, they have the best variety of art supplies with the best prices. They don't increase their prices unnecessarily. I can find almost everything I search for. I can even find the Japanese brands' products such as manga fountain pens. The prices are always reasonable. Transportation is also extremely convenient since it's near the Marmaray Sirkeci metro exit. Hakikat is my number one preference for art supplies and I recommend it to every artist.

Just opposite the Sirkeci Metro Station (Cagaoglu Direction). Go in the morning if you can as it gets often very cowded in the afternoon. You can find there everything. Especially if you study architecture or are interested in art, this is the stationary you should use. All kind of supplies like acrylics, pencils, brushes, miniatures, school supplies and much more, perfect location, good rates and very helpful staff. I do my kids school material shopping here every year and pay the half I would pay elsewhere. Since you can only pay cash make sure you bring enough with you.

I was impressed by how many selections of stationery they sale here. For tourist like I am, it was super cheap and convenient. This store is huge and also have the Quran.

The place there is just amazing, a heaven for artists, everything you can think of is there, and the best thing about them is that they bring international brands this also makes them more special for me, the road to reach their place is super easy especially if u came by the Marmaray it's just next to the door of the Sirkeci station!
