If you are around, it worth visiting.
Eshabi kehf were a a group of youth that ran away from being torchered in 1st century. They ran into this cave (it is claimed).
The governer commanded to close the cave entrance by putting a wall and leave them to die.
But they slept for 157 years with their dog and then came out from the cave alive!🤪
.
Entrance is free of charge.
Local people come to this place for praying.
It's kind if interesting.

Known as seven sleepers cave. People believe those people were blessed and lived 2-3 centuries. Nowadays many believers go there and hope for blessing from God such as being rich, asking for child and health etc.

The verse of Quran called Kehf tells metaphysical events happened in this cave. The story describes one of the pillars of Muslim faith: afterlife or life after death. The story says that Allah hibernated 7 sleepers one of them is a guardian dog to keep them away from Roman’s chasing because of their faith in Allah. And after 300 years of near death experience in the cave, Allah reinstated the dead skeletons reviving them as live humans in flesh.

Very nice place to be there. The only difficulty is that nothing is in English and no body could speak or understand English, only Turkish.

The cave is old. But it is stuffy and narrow.

Peaceful and allows some quiet reflection on one's life.
Not handicapped-friendly and wear comfortable shoes as this is a cave where many feet have traveled through and made the rocks smooth and slippery.

Ashabi-Kahf is a sanctuary in a natural cave which is located in the northern part of the city of Tarsus

The meaning of Ashabi-Kahf in Arabic is “the cave possessers”. Ashabi-Kahf was mentioned in 18th surah of the holy Qur'an “Al-Kahf”. The surah is a parable about a group of young believers who had stood against those who trusted in others, besides God and hid themselves inside a cave in order to escape a persecution. The Qur'an says that number of young believers and the length of their stay is known only to God. It laso emphasized that it is not the important part of the story, but rather the lessons learned from it. The event described in holy Qur'an can also be seen in legends about Ashabi-Kahf in.

The visit to the ancient place was the fourth in a series of visits to the place.
I think it is a mist when you come to this part of Turkey.
