This mosque is situated at the very point Prophet Ayyub (Job) A.S. layed in patience waiting for Allah to grant him His Mercy of recovery (shifa'a) and health, thus the Patience Place (Sabir Makam) the place's name. Allah did granted him His Mercies at this very point and one is able to see the place where the water he drank to get healed, sprang. This is the beautiful state of the mosque and its environs, and is one of the most important touristic areas of Sanliurfa in eastern Turkey.

Şehir merkezine çok yakin. Balıklı golü ziyaret ettikten sonra 5-10 dk mesafede. Çok büyük bir külliye oluşturulduğunda sabır makamı olarak tafsir edilen mağara tam ortada kalmis. Makamın hemen karşısında kutsal kuyu görülüyor Herşey çok güzel olmasına rağmen böylesine kutsal bir mekanın etrafının bu kadar salaş ve bakımsız olması üzücü. Sabır makamı olarak belirtilen alan aşırı derecede havasız. Tam girişine şifalı olduğuna ve Eyüp peygamberi iyileştirdiği ne inanılan suyu insanların alabilmesi için küçük bidonlar satan bir büfe koymuşlar!!! Böylesine eşsiz ve bir benzeri daha olmayan makamlara belediyelerin ve otoritenin biraz daha özen gostermesinin gerek olduğunu düşünüyorum.

Eyüp peygamberin çile çektiği mağara ve Eyüp peygamber cami ve yanındaki Eyüp Çamlık parkı burada hem maneviyat hem dinlenme hemde gezi için muhteşem üçlü. Kesinlikle ziyaret edilmeli gezilmeli ve görülmeli.
