Ziggy Cafe & Shoppe

Ziggy’s has it all… incredible views of the town, delicious food and superb service which all comes together for a wonderful dining experience. We sat atop the terrace which boasted some breathtaking views of the historic and natural landscape. The staff was super attentive and kind. We ordered the Meze platter so we could have a taste of everything, highly recommend it!

We came here for a late lunch and we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The food was delicious (a mix of cold mezes to start followed by a couple of main dishes and dessert) and everything tasted fantastic - especially their vegetables and spreads! The service was impeccable and the waiters were super friendly. Although we ate inside because it was hot, the view from the terraces is super nice. Highly recommend this place!

Not sure why this restaurant only has 4.3 star while it is really one of the best in town. All dishes were cooked with love and they taste so good. The waiter and the owner are both really witty. We enjoyed our evening. Thank you!

Fantastic lunch at Ziggy cafe! We had delicious meze and brilliant service. We had to leave early for the airport but would have loved to have stayed longer.

We love Ziggy's. We went back twice during our 4 day stay in Urgup. The owner is wonderful as are the other staff and the food was delicious- recommend all the mezze dishes. The restaurant has a heartwarming history to it and feels very homely and cosy. Thank you for our memories.

Ziggy Café is a great place to have a drink and some turkish delights in the evening. With a beautiful view of the Cappadocia landscape and gorgeous architecture, Ziggy is a must if you want to have a great night.
Salim, the owner, is an amazing host and you will find beautiful handicrafts in his shoppe.

Nice restorant not far from Goreme Open Air Museum, at first you could think that prices are little bit higher then you've expected, but the portion size is quite big so you'll be able to get rid of the hunger even by ordering single salad. We've tried pasta, pasty and salad and they were really great, the food itself is kind of mix of European and Turkish cuisines so if you would like to make your diet more variety this place will fit you well.

We have been in Ziggy for lunch. They serve traditional Turkish Meze Plate. If you would like to see what is Turkish meze, then you should order. Pastirma and Ziggy Special were very tasty. Prices are normal for tourist. You should make a reservation for the night.

very good, traditional, tasty and healthy food. we had the "short" menu and it was delicious. service is also nice and professional. the location is very nice. good local wines lists is interesting and worth while. overall, a very good choice, highly recommended

Great place with a rooftop terrace and delightful atmosphere. Went on a recommendation and it did not disappoint. The tasting menu provided a great selection and even they even switched the meat dishes out for me (as I'm vegetarian), and left in the meat dishes for my wife.

High above the town with a huge view. Indoor and outdoor dining, three terraces, an old restored house. Soups, salades, pastas, mezes, vegetarian dishes, meat, food on local fresh produce. Prepared to perfection. The portions generous. Beautifully presented. Delicious! Cosy and friendly ambience.

Once you discover Ziggy, you cannot do without it during your stay in Kapadokia. We were a group of 8 people (Italians, so very high expectations in regard to food 😉) and we all loved the delicious taste of Ziggy’s plates, the relaxing atmosphere on the nice terrace, and the service, which was fast and polite. Do not miss the little shop on the ground floor as it offers unique pieces of Turkish jewellery and traditions! Definitely recommended 😀

Loooooved the service! And oh the food😩 the Chicken literally melted on my tongue, Christ! It tasted so good. The ambience was nice as well. Plus I got a free bottle of water so it's a thumbs up for me!!

We ate dinner here based on a recommendation from our local guide. We all found the food to be fantastic! The meze selection is excellent, and the brothers and their family are unbelievably kind and welcoming. In addition to a great meal we got help and tutoring to improve our poor Turkish! We enjoyed it so much that we returned for another 2 dinners the following nights and enjoyed the food and service more with each visit!

Whatever you do, order Ziggy's potatoes!!
