Breathtaking caves. A lot of walking but they placed an elevator to get back up from the cave of heaven. Worth going all the way down after the sanctuary of verging Mary all the way inside the cave. Wear good shoes.

Beautiful place, definitely to visit. But put a shoe on because going to heaven cave is long and tiring. Specially the way back. I advise u to be careful because of the slippy road after virgin Mary church. Hell concave is interesting to see

Price 290TL for tourists.
Two spectacular sink holes of enormous dimensions. Well displayed with direct access. Hells cave has a glass viewing platform built directly above it. A walk down 455 steps takes you into the depths of heavens cave.

100% must see. Please make sure you visit this place only if you are wearing a great pair of shoes, as the size of the stairs are really vary. We have visited this place when it was really hot, but it absolutely worth it. The way to hell was obviously super easy, and the way to heaven was a bit hard, but as they covered the rocks with thick net, slips, trips and falls was prevented. Don’t miss it, even though it can be tough, you should give it a try.

A very beautiful place. I like the nature and also rhe mythology behind this place. If you go visit, make sure you go there by car. There are a lot of parking spots. You have to pay an entrance fee.

Mind blowing place to visit. There are two caves that symbolize the paradise and the inferno. Interesting fact: the Inferno cave is located much higher than the Paradise one. The rationale behind it is that you can’t get out of Inferno and you can get out of the Paradise.

There is an elevator that takes you up from the lower cave.

You can take your children here.

The tickets were 75TL per person. Really nice place to see, but you should be prepared for the over 400 stairs to take down (and up - if you dare) to see the heaven. There is also a lift available if you don't want to take the stairs. The hell looks more like heaven and vice versa. You'll see what I meant when you'll get there. It took us 1h to see the place but we like running and stairs.

Nice hike with amazing history. You could do it with saddles or sneakers, however the inside of the cave is wet and slippery, so sneakers see preferred. It can be warm! We hiked down and back up, but there is an option to take an elevator back up. The church was very interesting, and the mythology of the cave is great.

Heaven and Hell Caverns or Heaven and Hell Pitches are located 25 km from Silifke town centre, 2 km northwest of the Ancient Narlıkuyu Port, 5 km west of Korykos (Kizkalesi). They are natural sinkhole formations formed by the collapse of the ceiling structure, which was hollowed out by the discharge of the water inside by dissolving the lime layer of the underground waters for many years.

There is a big restoration by the cave the you can only enter the heaven and not the hell because it's not finished yet. If you go in the heaven you need a good condition. If walk down it's easy but when you try to climb up you will be really tired!!!. A good shape / condition is needed.

It is a fascinating place and little bit dangerous to be honest “Be careful if you have kids” and you can not take a picture as you want😅, I mean it doesn’t look as good as it should be in the picture😂. You can museum card which is applicable in different touristic places like Side.

Be prepared for lots of steps and slippery surface. Great view from the hell’s panoramic deck. Around 425 steps will bring you down to the heaven. It would be nice to have good shoes. The steps might slippery, so just pay attention. On the way back if you wish you may take the elevator.

Very good place to see.. historical and natural. When we’re there, there was an construction, team was working inside the temple but we were still able to see inside. On the bottom of heaven, lights do not work because high temperature changes. So just be careful floor can be very slippery. Worth to see...

Cennet- which means “heaven” was one of the most spectacular places I had the chance to visit. Fresh air and lots of step to go down.

At the southern end of the collapsed floor, there is a 200 m long and a deep cave entrance with a deepest point of 135 m and a small church at the mouth of this cave. In the 4-line inscription on the entrance door of the church, it is written that this church was built in the 5th century by a devout person named Paulus in honor of the Virgin Mary. You can go down to the heavenly cistern by a very wide 452 step stone staircase. The church is reached at the 300th step. At the end of the cave after the church, a mythological underground stream is heard.
