Such a truly out of this world experience. We came with no expectation to this area as a small group. We were blown away by the crisp, untouched and heavenly nature. The streams that flows through by the rustic cabins, clean air, simple but delicious food and above and beyond service by the owners, Huseyin bey and his sons moved us deeply. The cabins are simple but clean with the basic necessities. The owner, Huseyin Bey single handedly took care of everything. He was quite knowledgeable about the region, mountain and road conditions. He drove us to the peak where we experienced a spectacular sunset. The roads were rough but he gave confidence with his calm demeanor. The nature is untouched and pristine. Yukari Kavrun is a gem for true nature lovers. The town has several make shift cabins to provide shelter and camping ground for mountaineers. There is a small market and few simple cafes that provide service to visitors. I wish we had more time to explore this area further.
The owner cooked a delicious dinner and breakfast for our group. We loved chatting and learning about their stories and their dreams for the area.
We wished we had more time to spend in this area. We will definitely come back

This place is by far the best gateway to north side of Kackar Peak. The rooms are comfortable, the hosts are very friendly and offer great food. It is possible while difficult to climb the peak directly from here. Alternatively good base camp locations are within 2-3hr of easy hike. The north side of Kackar Peak provides a true mountaineering experience (as opposed to south side). In addition, the surrounding area offers great hikes to alpine lakes thru incredibly green landscape. The hosts know the area very well and also offer last minute status update on conditions on the mountain. I highly recommend this place for any outdoor activity. It’s guaranteed that you will create memories here to be remembered.

We loved this place. The owners literally read our minds and helped us with everything. Originally we planned one night only but tired after Kaçkar Dağı climb we stayed second night. If not the tight schedule we would have loved to stay for a next week or two 😊

Kalacağımız yeri seçmeden önce diğer işletmeleri gezdik ve Kavrun dağ evlerinde olduğuna karar verdik. Iyi ki de öyle yapmışız. Tek kelimeyle muhteşem bir gece geçirdik. Işletme sahipleri harika insanlar. Ahşap odalar çok temiz ve gerçekten çok rahat. Ayrıca ailedeki neredeyse herkes tulum çalmayı biliyor. Biz güzel bir zamanlamayla konserlerini dinleme şansı bulduk. Kahvaltı çok doyurucuydu. Kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum.

Ayder'den minibüsler ile ulaşım sağlanıyor. İşletme sahipleri bize çok yardım oldu. Odalarda ihtiyacınız olabilecek her şey mevcut, kafesinden de yemek sipariş edebiliyorsunuz. Güzel ve sıcak bir yer, tavsiye ederim.

30 yıl sonra yine yine Yukarı Kavrun’a gelirken, turizmin dağın ve doğanın dokusunu bozduğu düşüncesi ile gelmiştim. Hüseyin Şahin’in mekanından başlayarak dağın değişmediğini görmek beni çok memnun etti.
Güzel ve sade bungalowlarında elektrik, sıcak su ve ısınma tertibatı beklentilerimin üzerindeydi. Daha önemlisi günlük yürüyüşlerimizde bize verdiği telsizi ile kritik zamanlarda konumumuzu takip etmesi, sadece dağevinde iyi bir işletmeci değil, güven veren bir ev sahibi olması da bir ayrıcalıktı.
Eğer dağda yürüyüş veya tırmanış planınız varsa ve bunu kamp kurmadan yapacaksanız doğru yerdesiniz.

Ailecek ikinci defa gidip konakladık 10 gün kaldım ve herşey çok güzeldi aile işletmesi ve çok güzel insanlar samimiyetleri dürüstlükleri canayakınlıkları insana dahada bir rahatlık katıyo ve kendi yerinmiş hissi veriyor.işletmeciliğe gelince odalar pırıl pırıl sıcak su bol ve mükemmel yataklar temiz ve rahat kahvaltı doğal ürünler yumurtalarımızı çocuklarımız kümesten aldı getirdi her sabah tereyağ bal yayladan.şahin ailesine çok teşekkür ediyorum fırsat bulduğumda mutlaka oradayım

Kavrun daki evimiz ..5 yıldız ayarında odaları ile güler yüzlü sahip ve çalışanlarıyla harika konumu ve manzarası ile kackarlardaki evimiz ..

Zula cafe sahipleri güleryüzlü ve sizi kendi evinindeymiş gibi hissettiriyorlar burdan teşekkür ederiz😊 Ayder' boşverin muhakkak Kavrun'a gidin muhteşem bir yer.

Yoğun sis olduğundan pek bişey göremedik ama suyun kaynağını görmek ve kaynaktan içmek güzeldi.
