One of the most interesting pieces of the wider Pamukkale Hierapolis Archaeological Site is its archaeology museum. Contained within the ruins of the restored Central Roman Baths, the museum offers an array of artifacts found within the site and the surrounding region. The museum is located just opposite the white-cliff pools (travertines) and just before you reach the Antique Pool.

Remains of ancient city with the Hierapolis and museum being the main highlight of the visit. Recommended to go with a guide.

The Ancient City of Hierapolis stands out with its must-see historical and touristic places in Pamukkale. It is possible to come across many works of art and street figures. Also, do not forget to enter the Cleopatra pool and the pool filled with hot water coming from the underground.

Magic experience to see and to step into history . A pleasure to walk around and find all type of remains and Roman time’s structures. History of this place will blow your mind. The closest you can get to history.

Although is not that big, the collection is very good and the relics are quite well preserved. I enjoyed more that statues and less the coin collection. There are 3 different and separate rooms where you can enter.

Absolutely amazing place. I would recommend the golf cart rental as you can see everything in one hour. If you want to spend more time looking and dont want to walk, rent the electric bike which you drive on your own and you can stay as long as you like.

This is separated small museum that you need pay a little extra if you have museum pass no need to pay. There are 3 halls that you can see beautiful well handworked rock tombs, spulchres and other small but worth to see parts of ancient life. Don't miss it when you get there. And also there is a garden that you can see from the outside.

Amazing place
There’s a Roman theatre inside that you can visit and old city , they will charge you 1 dolar for a mini bus ride but it’s better than walking because it’s on the top of a mountain

Great collection of artefacts and wasn't crowded when we came. Lovely gardens and staff are helpful. Park in Pamukkale, walk up the travertines (internet pics are a lie....go early before the hoards arrive), visit the museum, use the toilets close by before you start to explore Hieraopolis site. Go in through the cafe to the side of Cleopatra's pool and it takes you inside where the toilets are. 400tl gets you entry to the travertines, museum and Hieraopolis site. We spent 6 hours from start to finish .....huge day! Wear sunscreen and reapply, take water and snacks
