Tomb of St. Philip:

The Church of the Sepulchre, with three naves, was built around a Roman-age tomb (1st century AD), which was the object of intense veneration. The tomb has a façade made of travertine blocks and is surmounted by a tympanum. On the façade are numerous graffiti and holes made in the Byzantine period to attach metal ornaments. The funerary chamber (3.50m by 4m) has stone benches on three sides on which the corpses were laid.
To the right of the sepulchre, in the central nave, two baths for individual immersions (4th-5th centuries) and two larger pools lined with marble slabs were discovered. Thus healing rituals were conducted in the sanctuary right next to the tomb, as in other Byzantine sanctuaries of Anatolia (St. Michael in Germia and St. Thecla in Seleucia Pieria).
