Fabulous. I think, along with the amazingly beautiful reconstructed theatre, this is the must see area of Pumakkale. There are a massive amount of various grave sites. Even grave mounds. Quite incredible . If you are bothering to come to this part of Turkey then you must take the time to walk this area

A must see part of the Hierapolis, located on the North side entry.

Allow at least 45 minutes to make the walk from the South side (Cleopatra Pools) and then take a shuttle (17TRY) back.

Amazing time! Stunning archaeological site set above the spectacular travertines. The pool was fabulous to end off the day of walking around the ruins.

1 79% 17:34 vodafone TR. Pamukkale, a UNESCO World Heritage List, owes its whiteness to the collapsing calcium carbonate in water, a natural formation that contains a number of undiscovered ancient heritage. In recent years, the water is routed to travertines regularly and a footpath can be reached up to the source of water where you can walk barefoot. If you want to climb here you can visit the ancient city, if you want to enter the north and south gates by car you can visit the ancient city directly. entrance fee If you have a student ID card, you pay 30 lira for a one-time ticket or 50 lira for a one-time ticket. there are places like the antique theater -the big but the access to the lowest floors like aspendos- is not open. one day is not enough to travel everywhere and especially before climbing up your water and food.
