Great hotel, well-located near the centre. It’s a small town so everything is walkable. Loved the design of the hotel and room. The owner is a designer so the place is modern and stylish. He’s a friendly guy who speaks a little English.

Decent shampoo and soap in the bathroom too. Really enjoyed my one-night stay here. There’s a car park just outside the hotel where you can park. If you tell them you’re staying here I think you get a discounted rate.

We spent a lovely night in The Abies. The hotel has a modern, sustainable style with great care dedicated to every detail. The rooms have different sizes according to your preference, but all very clean and comfortable. When the roof terrace opens next year, the hotel will be even more exciting. The location at the side of the center is great, as you do not have to go through the center's narrow streets and you can easily park your car in the guarded car park on the other side of the street. Still, the center is within 5 minutes walking distance. Nevertheless the most outstanding aspect of this hotel is the service, as the owner is very kind (as well as other staff) and accommodates any need that may arise. When my fellow traveller strained her ankle, he helped us locate the closest open pharmacy, gifted an umbrella for walking support and his friend even drove us to the center when we could not find a taxi. Thank you so much for your kind assistance and support, I would greatly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again!

The Abies is a tiny boutique hotel located in the heart of a residential area . For those visitors looking for a different atmosphere as compared to a typical boring hotel environment, it provides a unique experience. The building is only 2.5 meters wide in the front side and enlarges toward the back. However, it is decorated so nicely, you do not pay any attention to the size, but focus on beautiful details which are carefully selected and designed on the walls, around the rooms and corridors. The management is extremely helpful and friendly. All furniture and equipment are brand new and hygiene is perfect. For those visitors traveling with car, there is a huge parking area in the front, next to the river. Aynali Carsi (historical bazaar) is within 5 minutes walking distance. You can walk to the seaside in 10 minutes alongside Carsi Street full of shops offering local tastes. This boutique hotel offers an excellent alternative to others located near the seaside, which can only offer you easy access to a typical modern city atmosphere.

Extraordinary mini hotel with lovely and very help-ul staff. We love our room (we got the largest one - 18 Square metres) and we had enough room for our big luggages. We definitely recommend it!

We have travelled for one month in turkey. Value for money this is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed in. It is clean, new and in a good location.

The neighbours are a bit noisy, but the beds are soo comfy you’ll be asleep in no time.

Furthermore, there will be free bikes coming soon which look amazing!

Excellent small hotel. Everything is on a 10 minute walk - city centre, public beach etc. We stayed in a deluxe medium superir room. Room is very nice, newly renovated, with safe box, cettle, few teabags and bottle of water in a mini bar, free of charge, LED tv with satellite channels and inverter air conditioning unit.
Everything is perfectly clean and new. New furniture, new floor and bathroom tiles and everything is eco friendly. Bed is new, very comfortable. Pillows too.
Bathroom is just the right size for this type of hotel. All bathroom cosmetics are natural organic certified products.
Every thing in a hotel is eco friendly - everywhere are led light bulbs, automatic on/off lights in a hallway, bins in a hallway for paper and plastic recycling... You can even get a bike to make the city tour and its free of charge.
At the entrance, there is 24h front desk with very beautiful café bar. In café, there are a lot of books, in Turkish only, unfortunately. There you can enjoy the atmosphere in very comfortable chairs and listen to light not distracting music, drink coffee, tea or eat the breakfast. Breakfast is very nice, prepared and served with care. It costs about 3€ per person.
Across the hotel is paid private parking where you can leave your car. There is a car wash too. Parking is open 24/7. Mr. Kurşat, the hotel owner, make the discount price with the parking owner and we paid parking for our car, 200 tl (about 11,5€) for 6 days.
The owners are very polite and friendly people and they always do they best to serve and help to all their guests.
The only downside of the hotel are steep stairs which can be inconvenient for some people and noisy neighbourhood, because of the busy street in front of the hotel. But street noise can easily be solved by closing the windows 🙂

Stayed for three nights. Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and well furnished. Great location, only a 10 minute walk to the sea front. Plentiful parking in the car park opposite for a small fee.

This is a budding new business by a highly visionary, enlightened and friendly young man. The name is from Latin for a native tree, a fir species. It really cares for the Environment, avoids use of plastics, recycles, lends bikes to its guests, uses locally produced food and eco-friendly paper. It is currently the only Green Key certified hotel in Canakkale city centre. The rooms are clean, modern and tastefully decorated. They serve a lovely Turkish breakfast in the morning. A small business with a big heart and vision. Well recommended!

Quality service in a hip environment. Will be staying there again and again. Location close to the city center and quiet. Enjoyed the folding bikes while sight seeing.

The rooms are great, the host was wonderful, and the whole hotel is designed to minimize plastic and waste which made us feel right at home!

On top of it, not only the owner has amazing recommendations, he is also very kind and lovely to talk to.

The place is super new and great. The furniture has good quality and great beds. The guest keeper and owner is just super lovely and amazing. He will do always his best for you!

A really nice place to stay with a story behind. If details and someone who cares for your needs are important to you and you do not want to waste money this is a great place to stay. The hotel is in a close location to the main spots around.

The decoration is beautiful, every detail has been thought of, such as lamps, tables, bed sheets, natural shower gel.. Young employees are waiting to chat with their fresh coffee and give suggestions for your trip.. very nice
