Highly recommend & we will be back again!!

While all the food was amazing & cooked to a very high standard (the scallops were cooked to perfection!) - our favourite dish was the grilled octopus!

The atmosphere was delightful, with a great view out onto the harbour and a romantic setting for sunset into the evening. Best cocktails we could ask for.

Went initially for a cocktail after a day at the beach and ended up going back for dinner!

A beautiful terrace restaurant, lovely hosts and delicious food. The view from the terrace is stunning and even with a full house, it didn’t feel busy like many/most other terrace restaurants do.

Highly recommend the duck rolls, crab cakes, chicken skewers, scallops!

If you're looking for a luxurious ( yet affordable ) terrace restaurant experience, Taraça is at the forefront of them all here in kalkan. In a spirit that honours the sense of that word, Taraça is quite literally at the forefront of the downtown area - giving it a spectacular view of the bay. The restaurant itself has a rich atmosphere, ammenites downstairs, and friendly staff who just add to the atmosphere. The food - well its amazing. TARAÇA - an alternative to traditional fine dining where several small portions of food are ordered to the table and usually shared, like a bundle of sides. However, here it is adapted so that the dishes are in decent portions and can be eaten as individual mains if you so wish. The bar is the other main attraction and I'm told the drinks are great too ( I'm underage ). It is slightly more expensive than average as it should be for the amazing experience you get in return. Definitely recommend.

Newly opened 2023 following their stint at a local hotel. Small, intimate rooftop with a small menu of tapas dishes. Beef taco came off the firm favourite for our group of 10 followed by the crab cake; chicken skewer and scallops. Definitely a place to go to for lovely harbour/sea views and a light bite and a chat away from all the usual old town noise. A new favourite.

Originally reviewed this bar in 2023, we thought it was lovely and served the best cocktails in Kalkan.
We went back in 2024 and it is even better. They have extended the terrace and so the views over the harbour are great. They have expanded the menu and it is all delicious - especially the popcorn shrimp. Also still best cocktails in town.

Taraça is our go-to spot for drinks and finger food. The owner, Murat, crafts the best drinks with a warm smile, and his girlfriend, Sophie, makes every visit special with her delightful service. The cozy ambiance, fairy lights, and nice music create the perfect atmosphere. It's more than a bar; it's a haven of warmth and friendship. We can't help but return every week to this charming place.
