Courtyard Kalkan

My husband and I stayed here on our recent visit to Kalkan. Marion was so accommodating, kind and welcoming. The breakfast and staff were lovely, the view is impeccable (a great location too) and the rooms are top tier! I’ll definitely be back and recommending friends!

Staff really friendly and helpful,most of the guests had stayed there many times which is always a good indication. Breakfast was traditional Turkish,beautifully presented with a huge selection of fruits, cheese, bread along with honey, jam, tahini, olives and nuts and a choice of eggs. All areas kept spotlessly clean and the location couldn't have been better. 5 mins down to the harbour and 30 seconds to the start of all the bars and restaurants of which there are many to choose from. Despite the proximity to bars etc the Courtyard was always quite and peaceful. A beautiful place to stay.

We stayed here one night while hiking the Lycian Way. The room was very comfortable and the staff friendly. The view from the terrace is great, and easy access to the public beach.

Very nice and clean. Great location. Fantastic hosts. Best place in old town, Kalkan.

Do not think too much where to stay if you are visiting Kalkan. Courtyard seems to be the best.

Great location for pre or post dinner drinks, coveniently situated just above the old town.

Harika Bi otel. Konsept çok güzel. Güler yüzlü samimi insanlar. Bi aile işletmesi. Ve bizim için en önemlisi pati dostu olmaları hermesle çok rahat Bi iki gün geçirdik. Umarım Bi daha yollarımız kesişir.

Tertemiz, özenli, zevkli tasarlanmış odaları ve genel kullanım alanları, samimi atmosferi, halk plajına yakın konumu ve teras manzarası ile dört dörtlük bir otel.

Çok güzel bir yer tesviye ederim

Lovely place! Lots of attention to details and great interior design in the rooms. Also super central and right on the street where all the restaurants are. I did think there were a few improvements that could be made. When we arrived we were given a room where the AC did not work. It was about 40 degrees Celsius so we turned on the AC immediately and as it was not working we were moved to another room. They were kind about it! However, the bed in the new room (and in the original room) was hard as a rock. I think this might be a Turkish thing, they like their furniture to be more firm, but I could have probably felt the same about sleeping on the floor. It was sooooo hard it was very hard to be comfortable. Also, the electricity was cut in the town whilst we were there and unfortunately they did not have a power generator (I understand it is a small hotel and this might be a big investment) but again as it was about 35 degrees Celsius or more during the night, this was quite problematic. Finally, the breakfast is included but considering how much attention to detail has been put on the decoration of the hotel, I was surprised the breakfast was so basic. Kahvalti or breakfast is a key part of Turkish life, it is iconic, and I did not think they had put much effort into that.

Otelin çalışanı üzerine vazife olmadığı halde o sokağa park etmeye çalışan insanların park etmesine engel oluyor. Milletin sokağını sahiplenmişler. Otel kaliteli gözükebilir ama bu yapılan kalitesiz esnaf hareketidir.

Mekanın kapısında devamlı bekleyen ve o sokağa park etmek isteyen insanlara kabadayılık yaparak göz dağı veren bir medeniyetsiz var. Arabanız çekilir diye yalan söylüyor. Sırf arabaya zarar verir diye orada bırakmadık. Böyle bir tavra sahip bir işletmenin hizmeti nasıldır siz düşünün. O arkadaşla bir daha karşılaşırsam değnekçilikten derhal ihbar edeceğimi buradan iletiyorum.

Otelin kenarına araç park etmeye kalkarsanız görevli arkadaşlar buradan çekilir diye kolpa sıkıyor. O sokağa çekici de girmez araç çekilir tabelası falan da yok.
