Tarihi Akhisar Köftecisi & Kokoreç & Et Döner

I found this place through reading reviews and was really impressed. We ordered a half portion of kokorec, which turned out to be quite large. Everything was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. The ayran was also excellent – real Turkish ayran. I highly recommend this spot!

Really good meat restaurant with local atmosphere. Very tasty iskender kebab. On another day I also tried the kokorec (lamb/goat intestines wrapped and fried on a stick then chopped up and served in bread) that many locals seemed to order there. I was a bit afraid the taste would be overwhelming, but it's extremely tasty and I absolutely recommend to try it. Don't forget to order some Yayik Ayran that's prepared fresh by the restaurant.

Nice local cafe serving really good food and drink. The servers were polite, prompt, well presented, and spoke good English ( better than my attempt at Turkish).

So far the best place for quick lunch and dinner in Akyaka. Other places too much overpriced and food not good. Here I really loved. I tried mercimek çorbası ve köfte – the best choice. Teşekkür ederim!

Great food is an understatement, try their Köfte!!! Soup was also very nice at a very good price point in general, unlike some other tourist trap places in town at the Main Street.
