Comfy seats with great snack selection (including beer). Small to larger theaters. We loved the smaller one!

Standard fare. Clean and well maintained. Many smaller theaters in a maze of elevators and hallways. Usually a good variety of movies are playing, from the latest Hollywood blockbusters to more arty and classic reruns. Bring a light jacket as the AC can be quite cold.

Don’t bother going to the overpriced Vieshow.
Get a membership in this cinema and you can enjoy everything half-priced compared to vieshow, even the popcorns

The rooms here tend to be quite small, but it's great as gives them the chance to play movies that other theaters wouldn't consider. Snack selection and drinks are great. Just bring a sweater as they sometimes keep the rooms pretty chilly.

On top of being conveniently located in Zhongshan district with a McDonald's right nearby and a food street, this theater also provides great seating in generally small theaters (good screen to seating ratio). Some of the screens have less than 100 seats. Movie selection is always great and times also convenient. Definitely recommend as a good theater in the area.

11/19/2019. Since we were staying at a hotel closer by, we decided to watch a movie here. We bought two senior tickets with a popcorn and a drink, the total came out to be NT$370, around US$12. It was a large theater. Clean and comfortable. Great experience.

This is my favourite theatre in Taipei. They have small cinema rooms and it doesn't seem as crowded as other theatres. A much more intimate experience and (unless you go during peak times) a much calmer way to watch movies here.

Join the V.I.P club. All that is required is to leave a deposit of 1000NT (fully returned should you wish to cancel).
Mobile booking doesn't charge extra handling fees and you can pick up the tickets whenever, even one minute before the film starts. A ticket is 200NT through VIP.
Compared to Warner cinemas, where there's 20NT handling fees PER TICKET and pick up must be 30 min before the film starts, also, a single ticket costs 320NT.
I'd say Ambassador is the only cinema you need to go because seriously, Warner is such a rip-off.

Theater was clean. Seats were very good. They had salted and sweet popcorn. You can get it mixed. It tasted pretty good. Bathrooms were also clean.

If you are looking a theather to watch indie and awarded film. You can choose this one. Not pricy and enjoy the good movies.

Great movie theater.

Seats are very comfortable, prices are cheaper if you go off-peak hours and with an adult ticket you have included popcorns and a drink.

Had a great time there watching Captain America: Civil War.

Not much to say about this cinema. Clean, medium size rooms but cozy, sometimes too much AC as usual, a great choice of movies, popcorn.

Always showing interesting movies, new and old. I recommend this place if you want to go for a popular indie feeling itch. Each movie room does not fit many people but it feels comfortable.

Comfortable seat and clean. Although we need to stand to wait until the last min before starting to show. This rule is pretty common in Taiwan movie theaters.
