On the 86th floor of the Taipei 101, A Joy Restaurant is a buffet that truly lives up to its lofty location. While the price may be steep, the experience is undeniably worth every penny. The buffet was superb, better than some of those I’ve had in Vegas. I'm already eagerly searching for any excuse to come back.

The food is above average for most buffets. It's tasty and varied, although you can't expect any dish to stand out like in a specialized restaurant--it's a buffet, after all. However, the experience is well worth it for the stunning views and the friendly and helpful service. Everything is neatly organized and easily accessible, with no desperate lines or the like. I hope to return next year.

Highly recommended all the foods are so fresh, especially the lobster we can eat as much as you can, and for the wagyu also so tasty and smooth, most of their foods I love it.

A Joy was more than just a buffet, it was a culinary experience. $3800NTD per person for lunch (including the service fees) is fully justified considering they have used fresh ingredients with big variety to craft each single dish. Everything is freshly prepared and being paid the upmost attention, from a single piece of sashimi to a cup of tea. The environment of the restaurant is next level as the number of guests are limited per serving (reservations open up to one month ahead), the restaurant made sure the majority of guests will be able to have a clear view Taipei from the 86th floor of Taipei 101. Service is impeccable and very warm. The entire experience is a reflection of the Taiwanese culture and its people.

Very good quality buffet. They have hundreds of different food items. Calm and nice view from the 101 building.

One of the best, if not the best buffet I've been to. Nothing in Vegas compares. Some of the highlights: A5 Wagyu, toro nigiri, Wagyu nagiri, uni pasta, full fresh sushi bar, really big king crab legs and a dessert section that actually cares to put out great stuff. The desserts here aren't an afterthought, they def have a pastry chef at work here. If you have a sweet tooth there are some discoveries to be made here. Overall, I also loved that they don't shy away from classic Taiwanese fare, they've elevated a lot of dishes and made them restaurant quality for a high caliber buffet you won't regret checking out. It doesn't hurt that you dine on the entire 86th floor of the 101 so you have a 360 view of Taipei.

86FL of 101 need a bit time queue up for resto, advice be there 30mins earlier !

An unforgettable Taipei buffet experience. You must try this fancy restaurant located in the Taibei 101 Building.

This is a must go. Fantastic food and superior services. We especially enjoyed the seafood and the cocktails. Arrive early may help to get a window seat.
