Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE)

A big, clean and spacious airport. They have two terminals. A lot of shops selling branded goods, restaurants, local delicacies and products. There's even many cubicles selling different type of food in their food court in the basement. Many clean toilets. All shops have friendly staff. Some of their departure area have lift to go down instead of the staircase. The immigration stamped our passport when we enter Taiwan but no stamped needed for departure. Overall very easy to navigate around the airport.

Taiwan International Airport exceeded my expectations with its spacious and clean layout. The abundance of shops provided a delightful shopping experience, making the wait for my flight enjoyable. Overall, a highly recommended airport for travelers looking for convenience and comfort.

Great airport! There were lots of stores/vendors. A lot of amenities are available for every passenger to take advantage of with a small fee to none. Just follow instructions and directions when you're there. The airport is super clean!

Nice place to transit, almost every gate (on gate C) has shops and restaurants nearby. Information of flight easy to get, clean area including toilets. Have prayer room as well for muslim.

Excellent airport where everything runs smoothly and systematically. Filled with shops, souvenir shops, telco companies, cafes/restaurants and post office.

You can get to and from the airport via buses/coach, mrt or taxis to the Taipei or other cities.

A very convenient airport that’s always packed and busy, but waiting time for customs clearing / check in counters usually flows smoothly & efficiently.

Taoyuan Airport. The main airport of Taiwan. When going to the airport, the management was good. It felt like I didn't stand in line for long at the immigration area. And there are various transportation services that can connect to neighboring cities quite conveniently. Including there are various restaurants or shops. There are quite a lot of duty-free souvenir shops at the airport.

Always a nice airport to visit, whether to get to Taipei or simply layout. Convenient to get SIM cards and currency exchange. Transportation to downtown is simple to access.

A big international airport with 2 terminals.
At T2, on both ends, level 5, you can visit the observation deck to see the planes takeoff and landed, which is quite good.
However, the almost all the F&B stalls will closed before 8pm, which left the foodcourt at T2 opened until 10pm plus.
However, there are 7 eleven & Family mart available.
1 McDonald open 24hr at T2 basement foodcourt.
Plus, there is a Hotel Cho located at level 5.

What can I say that no one else has said yet? This airport was amazing!!! It's open 24 hours, has a hotel right in the departure terminal 2, convenience stores that are open 24 hours if you've forgotten any necessities or need a late-night snack. There are two major lounge areas before security if you don't feel like checking into a hotel and have a long layover. They're located at either far end, on the top floor. These spaces have restaurants that operate during normal waking hours and observation decks. There are ATMs everywhere! Some of them even convert Japanese Yen and Chinese Yuan! The MRT is located on the lowest floor and can take you into the city. Great restaurants everywhere! Helpful staff everywhere! There's also a cute Hello Kitty check-in area sponsored by EVA Air where your kids (or big kids) can pretend to check in! Once you get through security, there are a lot of themed gate areas--Sanrio, Woodland, Lego, etc. Do yourself a favor and try the beef noodle soup at the Halal restaurant. There are also robot coffee makers. This is honestly one of my favorite airports!

The airport is super nice!! The Plaza Premium Lounge has the best food. If you're looking for a good layover place, Taoyuan Airport is definitely one great option. Staff were helpful and welcoming as well!!

Very well designed and easy to navigate for foreigners. Before the baggage claim, you will see a kiosk to get Sim card. I applied for 30 day which cost $NT1000 (~$33USD), the service was super fast. After retrieving baggage, there are stations to exchange currencies. After coming out, in the lobby there's desk for car rental, and many signs to direct to different transportation, Taxi, MRT, Buses...etc. we took MRT, Metro Rapid Transit, to Taipei city with refillable EasyCard. Very easy to get around.

The airport is amazing, beautiful, clean, welcoming and inviting! If you have a big wallet, you’ll never find the airport very boring as the duty free is fully stocked with variety of goods and services! I love the train from Terminal 1 where I arrived to from London Heathrow. It took roughly a minute to get from Terminal 1 to 2 where I took my flight to Sydney, Australia.

This is the best airport I have been so far; you can tell they are upgrading it. All the waiting lounges in the international departures have a theme.

This is one of the nicest airport I have been to. They have thought a lot about the passengers when designing this place. They have allocated a lot of spaces for transit passengers with many seating places. In some spaces, charging spots are available. There is also a library space where u can freely work with the laptops. I had a 8 hr transit here, but it was easy to spend the time because of the facilities. If u want to take a shower, there are free shower rooms close to the foot court.

Super clean airport. The price of everything is quite wallet friendly. Arrival immigration can take about an hour at terminal 1. Departure immigration is just scanned at the auto gate, very quick. The seating area of each Departure gate will have to walk down stairs. Each gate has a bathroom and a hot water dispenser. Terminal 1&2 is connected, so you can walk (long 10-20 minutes walk).

I had been to 10+ airports around the world, and I must say that this airport is highly underrated! The service provided was exceptional. The staff was professional and provided clear instructions. Even if you had trouble finding your way, the people here were incredibly kind and friendly, willing to help you with directions and even accompany you along the way.

In addition to the exceptional service, the lounge at this airport was excellent. It offered a wide variety of food and drink choices, ranging from delicious local Taiwanese cuisine to a diverse selection of international dishes.

Such a beautiful airport. Lots of shops and areas to have coffee etc. Staff were so helpful at all times. There was even a time we just looked lost and a man came and asked if we needed help. Lovely areas to sit with a different theme for each. It was particularly beautiful when we travelled as it was decorated for Chinese New Year x

Always a great experience as nowhere else. Great people around the whole country. Just a perfect place where to stay in any part of the day or life. Very smooth and efficient experience on both arrival and departure. Excellent duty free, food options and lounge services. I especially like the free-to-all massage chairs in Terminal 2. Stress free experience!
