The service of the room was outstanding and the room was actually quite nice.

Beautiful, luxurious hotel, right in the city center. Convenient to visit museums, shopping areas, night markets. Rich breakfast dishes

I have a chance to visit here in the coffee shop July of 2017. With a group of old classmates, this have large space for us to seat comfortable. The waitress taking our order nicely and sweet smile is always on. This place is well lighted but not overly bright. Quiet that we all kept our voice down a little. I can smell the coffee when I first entered the space. Love that kind of environment, it usually be worm and peaceful. We all ordered our coffee, drink and dessert. I ordered a coffee that was made just right.
Have very nice experience here. If I have the chance, I will definitely go visit again.

The Hotel is a very famous and old one in Taipei. It was normal that the rooms weren't the most modern ones, maybe in a few year, it would worth slowly renovate them one-by-one. However overall service, and shared guest areas are quite beautiful, the breakfast was among the best in the region, with a wide selection. Wide variety of services. The staff and reception were top and absolute class one, every request were handled with priority and they were kind and professional. The place is absolutely recommended!

A nice hotel, looks dated since my last visit a few years back. The staff are extremely courteous and really go the distance.

If you are there for a traditional meal, plan to be there for a few hours in a relaxing affair.

The food is tasty and will accommodate for all dietary needs.

Very nice location. Great service here. One of the highlight here to me is, if you really concern quietness and want to escape from some special country group tourists' loud voice. Here is a nice place to stay. I like the secret pool by the way.

For the restaurant, my favorite is Contemporary Cantonese Kitchen(粵菜廳) , located in 2F, the , The Plate MICHELIN 2018 recommend tells that its quality is above the average Cantonese food in this city.

Also the 1F Le Bouquet provides good desert that comfort my girlfriends second stomach.

Nice staff I observed.
Rooms are clean and if you have them facing to the poolside then the rooms are quiet.
The others I don't know.
The pool is closed now because of winter season

For me as a German guy this feels strange since for us it is still feel like summer

We had lunch there couple of days ago and all I can say is everyone of us enjoyed our meal.
Great variety of foods, excellent selection of deserts and awesome, friendly customer service. Will definitely go back there.
Highly recommended, Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

Have tried all their restaurants from top floor to the Cafe to A-Cut, buffet, 2nd floor restaurant.... all great food and service. Would like to deduct a star for the terribly small parking but I heard they are refurbishing very soon. Expect newer things from them!

Nice hotel. Stay on executive floor to get access to nice lounge and better rooms.
Best part is A-Cut Steakhouse in basement of hotel. Best steak I’ve ever had... totally unexpected, but great service and awesome food.

While its age is starting to show, this hotel is still a good and reliable choice, especially now that guest rooms are slowly being renovated. Special mention ought to go to Night Manager, Chris, who went out of his way to deliver quality customer service. Congrats to the whole team.

Old hotel but has been renovated, the renovation works are still carried on, but you won’t feel the noise and bother. The room is smaller than Regent Taipei which just nearby, but it still worthy, I choose Executive Room for my stay this time, the lounge provided delicious foods and drinks including the wines and other alcoholic beverages. In downtown of Taipei city, I think this is a worthy decision for your next trip in Taipei city.

No sign outside, it can be easily missed. Went inside to have a toilet stop, it was maintained the best I can find in Taipei. Ambassador and President hotels were the the best hotels in Taipei more than 50 years ago. I am surprised that it still maintained the same quality as before.

The first day of the Lunar Calendar, Feb 1st most of the business provide decorations as a reminder from the festivities. A assorted of items are displayed on the Table as a tribute for the past year as well for the New coming year. Looks like a contest. However, the ritualistic effect done by the designers is a must see Experience. On Feb 1, Taipei was full of tables at the front of the business as a reminder of the Lunar New Year.

I was only there to wait for a friend in the lobby. From what I could see, there were plenty of staff around to help out and the hotel was huge and clean and beautiful. Would definitely like to stay here next time since the location is also good.

It is conveniently located in Taipei Station at two stations by subway(淡水信義線). If you walk down the underground shopping center, you can go to Station of 北門, as well as Taipei Station. There are a lot of eateries in the neighborhood, there is a 雙連market. If you walk about 15 minutes you have Carrefour and a 寧夏 night market. The staff is friendly. However,guest room has oldness.

Delicious Peking duck in Taipei !! I would love to recommend this place if you are fan of peking duck !! It is juicy and crispy 🤩 Other dishes also good !!!

Convenient and comfortable hotel with nice facilities. Located in a strategic area with lots of stores and restaurants, yet night rates are sffortable.

Great , attentive, and helpful staff. Great lobby bar and home to one of the best steak houses in Taipei, a cut.

Stayed there many times. Love the old style health club and pool. Great food. Great staff
