Lemon Restaurant

We went on a full moon night, there was a power outage, the place was almost closed, when we entered we asked if we could sit down to eat, they said of course we could, from then on everything was magical, a Restaurant with our own lighting, with our own music , and a fresh and unique food (seafood), the guys who work the restaurant have put their soul and a lot of work, it is worth supporting them because it is the most beautiful, genuine, and without much fanfare Restaurant in Eastern Zanzibar....highly recommended

Super recommend! The food is delicious and fresh with a fair price, besides that Dhuli received us very well in a relaxed and great atmosphere , with no rush or trying to trick tourist as some other people do here in the island ! He is welcoming and honest.
The location has a nice atmosphere, very quiet and relaxed ! We will come back to eat there again during our stay here for sure ! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

In search for a local restaurant near our Bungalow in Bwejuu we found the "Lemon Restaurant", because they offer traditional "Ugali" (some Kind of soft, greasy bread Made Out of corn flower) - very delicious and highly recommended! The portions were big, unfortantely we weren't able to eat everything. We had fried Calamari and Fish in Curry coconut sauce from the menu, super yummy! You could easily miss out on this hidden Jewel, since it's not located directly at the Beach.

This place is a hidden gem 👍 Delicious and fresh sea food. Not Swahili but a lot of different sea food options. You might wait a bit longer but that’s almost everywhere, it takes around 40-60 min to get food. It’s worth waiting and the hospitality is amazing. We ate here three times over past four days, always amazing. Prices are good, lower than other places around.

Good food. Good prices. We ate here 3 times during our stay in Bewjuu; fish curry, local Swahili dish and grilled fish. Don’t be put off by the beach shack vibes the food is very tasty and alcohol cheap. Very nice little place.

Best seafood in town. And on top, all quite cheap. Never had any problems. Friendly service. My advice: Book B&B at the Tiki Beach hotel and have decent food and drinks at the Lemon.

Cool place, on the beach. Great food! Everything is tasty. You can have the catch of the day which could be fish, squit, calamari or lobster, and along the fresh squeezed mango juice, it's a delight to eat here. Also, Nuhu, the head chef makes the best nutella crêpes I had here on the island, so cheers to the Lemon team!

Amazing place and excellent food. We ate lobster and fish with sand in our toes while sipping on delicious pina coladas. Best quality and lowest cost of the places we’ve been. Hats off to Chef Nuhu.

We eat there 3 evenings and each time we are not disappointed.

The food here is amazing and the prices are very good, but the restaurant it’s a bit hidden. Anyway if you are around give it try, you won’t regret it. We will definitely go back

We went to this nice place 2 times, for lunch and for dinner and had a very good experience. Great menu, tasty food, good portions and good price. Everyone is super friendly. We even got mosquito spray on the table (but no mosquito's seen). We highly recommend!

One of the tastiest restaurants in Bewjuu and one of the views between touristic and local with big portions for reasonable pricing. However it is a bit hidden. Outside the main season they might not have available the full card everyday but therefore they only provide fresh food.
We have been there multiple times during our stay, always nice.

I had an octopus in Lemon restaurant, it was fresh and so delicious, very cheap compare to other restaurants. It’s small local restaurant , I definitely recommend it

Great restaurant with extremely delicious food. The boys (waiters and chefs) are very friendly and polite.
We have been looking for a good restaurant for 3 days and when we found this, was the only one where we ate lunch and dinner until the end of our trip.

A great restaurant where meals are prepared according to the traditions of local cuisine. Delicious juices, shakes and smoothies. Unforgettable guacamole with chapati. The best soft octopus I've eaten. Just have to be patient:)
