The Most Beautiful Café in Moshi

This is one of the few old buildings in the town center that is well-maintained, which alone is worth an extra point. The interior is also interesting: you can see photos of people who made history as part of the country's first cooperative union — the KNCU farmers' coffee union, which owns the building.

Coffee is roasted right here, and the aroma is incredible! Step inside and take a look at the coffee roasting machine. Coffee Union Cafe serves delicious coffee, prepared with skill.

The food here is mediocre but acceptable. My favorite dish is the tuna sandwich. There is a selection of desserts (although all are overly sweet, so be careful).

You can sit on the veranda or inside. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi is paid and expensive — I was offered one hour for 1000 shillings.

This is a popular spot among tourists. It is definitely worth a visit.

This place is so chill and easy going. The huge covered terrace wraps around the cafe situated on a corner in the Center of Moshi Town. Here you can have a bite to eat, some cake or sweets and enjoy that delicious coffee sourced locally. I highly recommend this Cafe.

Super friendly place. Delicious iced coffee. Very nice staff. Convenient location. I really needed ice cold caffeine boost and this was the place to go and I will probably return here during my stay in Moshi. I had a iced Kilimanjaro coffee with milk and they provided some simple syrup to sweeten it with and it was delicious.

Oh wow! My favourite place to get dinner from while i visited Moshi. Had some Regina pizza (Ham and Mushroom) with vanilla milkshake 10/10. The chicken shawarma left alot to be desired in terms of flavour profile. They have the most friendly of staff and very beautiful architecture showing the history of how the coffee union came to be. A great place to unwind after a long day or you need a change of environment.

LOVE to come here and drink coffee, eat pizza, and just watch what's happening in Moshi.

The staff are super kind and the food has always been great. The coffee is exceptional, and you can buy it in bulk!

Union coffee cafe... The best coffee shop in Moshi. Has the original setting of simple bench and seats. Coffee here is freshly picked from the surrounding coffee farms, processed and brewed from within the coffee shop. It has a visible roaster and coffee processed and packaged at the coffee shop can be bought for domestic use at a friendly price. Try this place while in Moshi you won't regret it. They do have amazing pizza too.

First of all: good coffee & food, but the colonial setting makes the real difference. You feel like your Livingstone himself :)

Great food in Moshi. Service was a little slow but the food quality was high. Nice environment . Great coffee, comfort food sandwiches, burgers and pizza.

Great Atmosphere and Coffee was deliciously fresh, and without an intensely bitter bite to it.

Very nice café for relaxing moments. There are plenty of tables inside and outside. We tried their iced coffee which was very good. We haven’t tried the cakes but they looks delicious.
We also felt quite safe because around the café there were few guards walking around (I am not sure if that’s all the time).

Good food and ice cold drinks. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. Arguably the best coffee in Tanzania!

We came here every day for coffee while being in Moshi. The coffee is really good, also the carrot cake. Prices are quite high compared to “local” places and it’s quite touristy. But still a nice place to hang out & enjoy the coffee.

They have the absolute best vanilla milkshake and pizza! My pictures do not do the food justice looks wise.
