Courage Café

This is such a beautiful spot to have coffee in Moshi. A little bit out of town. Very quiet. Huge, well-taken care of grounds. Inside the café it's quite cozy.
What they also stand for and do for the community is amazing!
Highly recommended.

Courage Cafe in Moshi is a hidden gem! We spent our Saturday afternoon here and absolutely loved it. The rich, aromatic coffee was a delight, complemented by a menu that tantalizes taste buds. We had cappuccinos and salads. So tasty! And the property is beautiful, full of beautiful local plants and trees. It’s a peaceful and relaxing spot. But what sets this place apart is their commitment to empowering local women – the beautifully crafted goods on display are a testament to their skill and resilience. A must-visit for a heartwarming experience that goes beyond just great coffee!

Absolutely loved our visit to this cafe. Service is amazing and the food is delicious! Good coffee and the ambiance was top notch. We were at the cafe for maybe around almost 6 hours. Must visit if you’re in Moshi.

The cafe is cozy, conveniently located close to the road. The menu is diverse, portions are adequate and fair priced.
It is child friendly with a spacious playground that has swings, a trampoline a garden area. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
Also, there is a souvenir shop where you can get different crafts, kitenge prints, beads, tote bags and so much more.

Courage Cafe has the BEST food in Tanzania! Great variety of options and it all looks and tastes fantastic!

It's tough to decide which food was my favorite so here are my top 6: coconut crusted fish fingers, chicken burger with chips, any of the pizzas, meat Swahili platter, chips mayai, and the tacos👌🏼
Of course, we can't forget about my favorite sweets too: vanilla milkshake, cinnamon roll, pancake stack, and coconut gelato😋

My team and I really enjoyed the beautiful view and relaxing environment. Also, the staff is amiable and so kind, especial shoutout to Gabriel 👏🏻

I 100% recommend Courage Cafe because of its great cause but also the delicious food (I can’t wait for my next Tanzania trip to go back to Courage Cafe!! )

I keep coming back hoping for the same delicious food and service that I got here 2 years ago. It's just never going to happen. Food takes a long time, and is somehow COLD? food often lacks flavour and is completely not worth it. Very instagram worthy but taste is not worth it.

the BEST food in Moshi, the BEST staff in Moshi! i came to Courage Cafe almost every day of my trip and could not get enough! the food is so fresh and made to order each time. the coffee is delicious and the barista is so talented! there really is something for everyone on the menu - vegans, kids, and big and small appetites! the atmosphere and ambience are so peaceful and welcoming - not to mention the view of kili! and above all of that, the cause of Courage is one so worthy of supporting. they are really changing lives and generations. patiently waiting for my next trip to Tanzania so i can come back to this place!!

Their goal is to raise money to save children. There’s a good reason to visit this beautiful place.

Great family space. Lots of room to run and play. Huge yard with lots of activities for the kids.

Tacos are phenomenal. Nachos are incredible. Cinnamon rolls are out of this world.....they are fresh and the frosting is great. All are very comparable to standard U.S. food products.

Cappuccino and Latte is really good too.

The best coffee and food experience (May 2022) in my many visits to Tanzania. Service was excellent - great smiles all round. I proudly wear my Courage bracelet as a reminder of the amazing work done by the Courage Organisation. I will visit again in January 2023 and can't wait to introduce our Rotary friends to this little gem of a place in Moshi and support the work of Courage in a small way.

It is amazing and cosy place to chill,while waiting for your food and desert there is good area to play sports

I loved it a nice chillt place for meetings or just cooling off. People are nice environment is friendly there are some games too for kids

A hidden gem! The food is delicious, the staff super friendly and the view, spectacular. It's also good to support a worthy cause and you can get some lovely trinkets in the shop. Must visit if you're in Moshi

We loved this caffe this is our 3rd time here. First time at Moshi. Sleeping close by in the Panama Garden Lodge we come here everyday we are free to eat something. As vegetarians we found a lot of options. I suggest the tacos and Samosa! Nice waiters and good service. It’s worth it.

Wow amazing delicious food with many vegan options and very reasonable prices and their aim is to help human trafficking victims.

Best ginger tea I’ve ever tasted! Fabulous veranda and garden and lovely staff.

Super cute vibe. Love the veranda and the cappuccinos. Great relaxing environment to hang out or have a work day. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
