Comfort Inn Hobart - Merrillville

Thank you to Jeremy who checked my husband and I in on the 28th. You were very thorough and everytime you told me something else about my room, I'd get more excited, it met every need I had without you even realizing it.
Ethelynn thank you for checking in on us at breakfast and wanting to make sure the waffles tasted good. I appreciate you taking the time to chat with us and teaching me a bit about the area and state. Thank you as well to Antonia as I was checking out, you were very sweet and kind.
To Comfort Inn, you have some quality people working for you here at your Hobart-Merrillville location.

Dede at breakfast was so professional and friendly to us. You can tell she is a hard worker and makes her guests feel welcome. We overheard Dede talking to the staff and is shown to have a great work ethic and a leader. Comfort Inn is lucky to have her working for them.

We were in town visiting family for the holiday weekend and booked a room online and it was everything it said it was. What a very nice hotel, everything was clean and the room was just perfect. The only thing I can recommend is they get new pillows other than that a great stay and great staff with a great location. 2nd time staying and stated in the presidential suite and it was wonderful, one of the best mattresses I have slept on in a hotel.

Only stayed one night because I was getting my bike fixed in town but it was good

Great and friendly staff. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Pool is fun for the kids and the gym is great for the older ones. It is our home away from home in the winter to swim and relax.

They do not service rooms for multiple night stays. Stayed 3 nights, room was very clean, beds were comfortable, ac worked well.

Staff is very cool and nice. Room was clean except on top of the microwave was some sticky and behind desk we found old cookies. Found blood on the comforter but it was replaced right away and the maid brought stuff to clean right away. No issues quiet and great! People underestimate the staff and quality of the rooms. Guy complained about his TV not working but when you check in hit source and make sure it's on tv before you complain!!

Love love love this hotel!!! The staff is amazing especially the maids. Connie is so funny and makes you feel so welcome and comfortable!!! The genera manager V is very understanding and will do what it takes to make you happy and satisfied. The 3rd shift desk employees are great, especially the lady that sings Barry Manilow., love it! I love everything about this hotel and I always stay in when I’m in on business.

Pros: Clean hotel, great location, and big comfy beds. The room was great, I would stay there again on my future visits.
Cons: The amenities: WiFi, Swimming Pool, Fitness Center, Restaurant, and free Breakfast was not available, on site, as advertised.
They should update their "stated" amenities until they can be made available for customers.

Very friendly staff. Driving in heavy rain it was nice to be greeted in such a friendly manner. The room was clean and the hotel was quite. Another plus is the staff spoke English! The breakfast was also good and had variety of choices. I would recommend this Comfort Inn to anyone.

We stay here every few weeks and it’s always clean and so nice. Jennifer knows who we are when we walk in and always takes great care of us during our stay. She does a wonderful job! The girls cleaning the rooms are so sweet and do an amazing job. We love staying here!

Husband says the best part is that I am 5 foot 2 inches tall..and the bed was so high that I had to take a running leap to get onto it

Akeda and Antonia were excellent host who demonstrated exemplary customer service skillsets. My family and I will only stay at this Comfort Inn, whenever we come to town. Good job Comfort Inn on hiring these two young ladies. They are great examples of good natured and kind people who are assets to your company.

Nice place to rest. Had ample parking for my moving truck and trailer. Plenty of foods option close and was a nice, quiet stay. Front desk attendant was very friendly as well. Pet friendly and we got some good rest while driving across the country.

Great customer service and clean. Anything we neeed they had it with no problem. We stayed here a few days. Left and came back some days later because we felt comfortable here. The lady at the front desk was awesome Jen or Jennifer idk if that's her name or not but she really made us feel welcome. We out here to work but and get real sleep So thank you.

Hate seeing that this property reviews are under 4 stars! This place is very up to date & clean. (Not in desperate need for anl remodel update.)

The staff is exceptional. Jennifer at the front desk was especially helpful to get me checked in to a ground floor room because of my special needs.

Their indoor pool is open. The only downfall is they do not offer any breakfast whatsoever. It is my first Comfort Inn that doesn't offer any thing, not even a grab and go. That is typically the Quality Inn modus operandi. (So tisk tisk to the management/owners for a sub par biz decision!)

As you can tell I travel for business. As a professional traveler, I am in a different hotel 15-20 nights a month. Hope that helps persuade you to give this property a chance! The price is superior to the experience!

Very good laid back stay!!! Misty and Jennifer was awesome great customer service! Made our stay successful. We will definitely be back when we just need to get away. Was there twice within two weeks!

This place has one of the Best staff! Particularly the J&J Management Team! If there was any issues or anything you needed they made sure your stay was going to be a Great experience. Just awesome Customer service from the whole staff!
