This place is amazing! The food was incredible, the drinks too. The waitress we had was Carlos, He was great! Super sweet and went above and beyond for us. The 🌮 was the best I've ever had! We can't wait to go back .

It's my first time trying this place and I'm absolutely impressed. I was first greeted by the loveliest guy (I later found out his name was Alan)! He was so friendly and so passionate about Meal. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic about his dishes. I could have sworn he had intervened in the place. I proceeded to order the maguey wings incredibly Delicious. I will definitely return, I felt at home

Hailey is by far the best server I've ever had there! She is always so nice and so helpful with deciding the best dish to order! Every time I go we look for her. Definitely ask to have her as your server next time and you will guaranteed have the best dining experience!

We love the atmosphere and food is great!! Prices are reasonable. We eat here at least 2 x wk. What is the bonus? Our waitress. Kayla is the BOMB! Love love love her!!! Ask for Kayla. She will not disappoint!! :-)

An unforgettable gastronomic experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming. The young waiter Dilam, very handsome, we loved his pleasant attention and kindness, very polite and friendly, he made us enjoy an excellent afternoon. We will definitely return for the quality of service

We stopped in for dinner after a day visiting local antique stores. The service was fast, the food was hot and the outdoor seating was exactly what we needed after a long day of shopping. We recommend if you’re in the area looking for excellent food and friendly staff. (We ordered 3 street tacos and the Maguey Burrito, pictured below).

This place turned out to be a great find. The restaurant ambiance is perfectly suited for a good experience. The service was friendly, helpful, and prompt! I can't say enough about the food. Great flavors throughout our meal. This is a family friendly place that you will enjoy!

Me and my husband stopped by at El Maguey Mexican Restaurant since we were looking for a good and authentic Mexican food. I must say that we really enjoyed it. The service was great! Our server was Alan a very friendly waiter, and very attentive.

This was a great place for some Mexican style food on the square in Salem, Indiana. The chips and salsa was outstanding. The entrees were great as well. The restaurant was very clean and uniquely decorated. The staff here were all great with prompt courteous service. There was plenty of parking available on the street and is free.

Best Mexican restaurant in town by far! The foods always great and service is amazing. Especially Kayla!! The best waitress in town by far.. She’s always quick, knows her regulars well and ALWAYS has a smile on her face.

We found out about this place from my fiancés brother. Let me tell you I love this Mexican restaurant more than any other I’ve been to around my town in corydon or just anywhere. Service is great food is great and I love how they serve your drinks to you lol. Amazing people amazing service and amazing food. Definitely recommend going and enjoying a night out and stopping by this restaurant. And if you do decide to stop by make sure you ask for Hailey as your server she’s amazing at her job gives you great service and makes sure you’re very well taken care of drinks full plates gone everything checks on you every five to ten minutes she’s amazing. We will definitely be returning every time we’re up in Salem for sure. 😊

Wow. This place has did a complete 180 in the past few years. Very fine restaurant. One of the best, if not the best, Salem has to offer.

The Sante fe salad was pretty freaking bland, however. It is in serious need of some acidity and flavor. The chicken was cooked well, the greens are good. But was boring.

I have been to this place many times beginning in October 2019 and during the summer of 2020. My friends and I visit here on Tuesdays typically and we LOVE the rooftop dining terrace here at El Maguey Mexican Restaurant in Salem Indiana. Sometimes I space out on cloud nine at sunset and dusk because the atmosphere is so enjoyable. The owner is so passionate about creating a relaxing atmosphere and pleasant hospitality experience for her customers.

The decor and design of this restaurant are an ongoing evolution but it keeps getting better because the passion the owner has to communicate to her customers that she cares about their experience as they visit her restaurant.

If you visit this place as often as I do, you'll notice that even the building itself has a soothing personality that it radiates. It gets so cozy there on the rooftop dining terrace and I love it at sunset and especially at dusk.

Had a girls day out and we had to give this place a try. Very nice place and love the decoration, felt very welcoming. The wait time was not bad at all and the food very delicious, out waiter Dilam was amazing and answered all of our questions. Honestly recommend this place for a girls night out or a family day and ask for Dilam

El Maguey exceeded my expectations with its vibrant atmosphere and delicious Mexican cuisine. Alea, the hostess, was wonderfully attentive and ensured a seamless dining experience. Our server was kind and quick with everything! I ordered the Arroz con pollo and it was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend giving this place a try!

10/10 would recommend to anyone! I have had a great experience every single time I’ve been, Kayla is a phenomenal worker there and is always on top of everyone’s needs. Best Mexican in town!
