Salsa Grille at Coventry

First time visit and the staff were so kind and helpful. Delightful food and relaxing environment. Just in town for the day. On Mondays they have a $7.99 special that looks like a reason to come back on Monday!

This Salsa Grille location is the best in town. Their food is amazing and the burritos are amazing. All of the employees are very friendly and the manager is also very friendly. I was greeted and thanked really politely by the employees. If you are looking for some good Mexican restaurants this is the best place. If I could give this location ten stars I'd definitely would give ten stars.

The food is always fresh and delicious. I am there often so I have a lot of experience with it. The service is great. They have a great system and everyone knows their job well. If you eat in the space is pleasant. I do think they are at the point where some of the furniture could use repairs. It is always busy but I’ve never had a problem finding a seat.

Best burrito place in town! Love how many different options they have that you can add into your burrito. Way cheaper than chipotle and tastes better anyways (way more options here as well). The pineapple salsa is my favorite salsa! I love to pour my salsa into my burrito or bowl and give it that sweet taste along with some hot sauce. It creates the perfect mixture for me. You are able to mobile order and it is always warm and fresh when you arrive! On Mondays they have a special for $6.99 you can get a burrito/bowl, chips & salsa and a soft drink! A great deal! I recently started ordering a bowl and they give you so much it's hard to finish. I always end up with leftovers. So you are definitely getting what you paid for which is great because other places aren't like that. It is usually packed around 12pm and 5pm on those Mondays so I recommend going in between. Definitely stop here if you love burritos because it will become one of your favorites!

Some of the employees make sure they understand. If an order was made incorrectly, then the order gets completely redone without extra payments.

My only complaint is an experience yesterday. I have been to the store since it first was public so this experience does not affect my rating.
1 burrito was a bit over cooked so it was very dry and crispy at the end (threw that away piece away). If something is suppose to be crispy, then the texture shouldn’t be only one area of the food.
My other complaint that day was the location and amount of my vegetables. There was significantly more meat than vegetables while the vegetables were at the end of my burrito. I do not dislike the ratio, but I think the unequal amounts was a bit odd.
My group had to repeat a few times we were all together.

Overall, I recommend the restaurant to anyone.

Remarkably good. It’s basically like an inexpensive Chipotle minus the hipster feel and plus the Hispanic heritage feel.

It shares the same entry with Zing! Asian food. Just turn to the right.

It has a similar set up to get your food like a chipotle/subway/Corelife. The selection of protein is so much better than those places though. I love that you can add extra cilantro! That’s always a requirement for me.

Got the kids a Niños meal with two tacos, came with chips and juice. For my 9 year old, it’s a bit small. They are street taco sized.

In Monday nights they have a deal where you can get a regular adult meal for 7.99, which includes entree chips and a drink.

Like DUDE. As a family of four, we got out of there at $32 because of that! SMOKIN deal.

We were in and out in 45 minutes. Totally worth it for a quick bite on a Monday.

Amazing place! I can't believe I have never been here before. My friends finally convinced, and I am obsessed. You get to pick what meat, toppings, veggies, etc you want. The service is very quick. The food is outstanding. Everything was very fresh and extremely delicious. I will definitely be returning here!

Pretty delicious, and they were helpful with accommodating gluten/celiac. The bleach cleaner smell was strong which affected the atmosphere a bit. But since I was eating in the car to go the flavor wasn't bothered.

Salsa Grille is The Shiznat!

Seriously. I wish there was one closer to home.

Similar to the Mexican fast-casual, you do down the assembly line, starting with what type of food item you want (tacos, burrito, a bowl, salad, etc) and add your proteins and veggies and sauces and assorted toppings as you go down the line. You've been to these places before.

One of the things that stand out for me is the variety of items available. Yes, they've got chicken and beef and barbacoa, but they also have chimichurri chicken, which is an absolute stand-out item. If you're unfamiliar with chimichurri, it's chicken that's typically sautéed with finely chopped parsley, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano and red wine vinegar. That leads to a very green colour, but the taste is (insert chef's kiss here). I typically get mine in bowl but vary the toppings over time.

As you go down the line and add your toppings you're basically creating your own meal. At the end of the line you're handed your meal on a tray and each order comes with a small bag of freshly made chips and you can chose from any one of about ten different types of salsa. I've tried most of them, my favorite being the tomatillo because it tastes so fresh, but they're all made fresh in store and each has its own distinct flavor.

We've been to this location a number of time and the service has always been awesome and the facility has been very clean. They do a great job of keeping the dining room clean.

Salsa Grille has yet to recover from Covid practices regarding the Salsa Bar, but I get that. It saddens me, but I get it. Currently your salsa is kept in 2oz soufflé cups behind the line and you have to request it at the counter. I'm sure as we move further towards Covid recovery that the Salsa Bar will return.

In a world of QDoba, Moe's, Chipotle, and Salsarita, I'd take Salsa Grille over all of them. If I had the means I'd bring a Salsa Grille franchise to Louisville.

My husband and I just tried this about a year ago. I could easily somehow take taco Tuesday into a different name for every day of the week. We get take out and it is always absolutely delicious! They also have some beverages from Mexico. The service has always been great and they are super nice! This is one of our go to at least 2-3 times a month

Great food, awesome preparers and both checked on our satisfaction. First time for us at the restaurant and will be returning.

I go here all the time and am never disappointed. The quesadilla is the best in town. Make sure to ask to have it grilled twice and add queso.

Consistently the best place for fresh Mexican in Fort Wayne. It truly is fresh. Everything is made from scratch right there in house and it shows in the quality of the food. The meat is perfectly seasoned and flavorful and the corn tortillas are simply amazing. Love the wide variety of salsas offered also. Fast and friendly service. I eat at this location for lunch quite often and the one off of Coldwater for dinner. Never disappoints!
