Family friendly state forest trail head. Hiking and Camping for nature lovers. A part of the Knobstone Trail.

The state has logged south of here and at the trailhead north is another ugly clear cut. Your taxes paid for a large sign telling you the state "needed" to log here to create habitat. You wonder how Nature survived before INDNR. Once you cross the creek north you can see how beautiful the area once was.
