Ascension St. Vincent Salem

Not long ago, I woke up in the middle of the night and felt pain and pressure in my chest area. My husband took me to the Emergency Room, and I cannot say enough good things about the professional treatment and the kind and caring staff. They were attentive, quick to respond to questions and concerns, and were so compassionate and understanding about my fears. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service. All our previous visits there were also top notch as well.

When I was profusely vomiting, they got me in really fast and were extremely helpful and nice. I’d recommend this place to anyone who has an emergency.

They have always treated me and my family very well. I had my baby there, been to the ER and always had great service. We are lucky to have them so close to home and only a stat flight from any major hospital. Thank you staff of Salem Indiana hospital.

had a surgical procedure here, the surgery department is AMAZING. i made them aware that i don't do well with IVs, and sometimes pass out. they got a cold rag on my head and comforted/distracted me while the whole time assuring me they would take care of me and making me as comfortable as possible for my first surgery. came out of it feeling totally fine and they were so informative and kind to me!

I give it 5 stars for the staff. Im doing physical therapy on a knee replacement. I do NOT love that part.

The entire surgery staff was absolutely amazing. Kevin the RN was top notch. Dr. Noel was great as always. Thank you for taking great care of my son.

Got sick on a Friday night, come Monday I did not feel better and had to call in sick. And Dr office has to set up appointment to see you and it is normally weeks out before you can get seen. So I went to the immediate care clinic across from Salem Hospital. Walked in signed in waited less than 10 minutes. They took me a to exam room. Waited less ton 15 minutes Dr came in talked with me ran some test for the flu came back negative. Come to find out it was a virus. Plenty of rest and fluids was the best medicine. Was better by morning and went to work had a wonderful experience the immediate Care clinic. Less than anahour I was in and out and headed home Will definitely go back when I can not get in to see my family Dr. it is so nice to have this practice here saves from having to go through the emergency room.

Amazing staff in ALL departments. Was in and out in no time at all. Didn't have to wait long at all. Everybody was friendly and made you feel like you really mattered. The staff there made you feel like they genuinely cared about you and your problems. Even the test results came back fast. If you're ever in this area and need care I recommend going here. They are really helpful! And very friendly! Thank you to all and God bless every one of you!

I like our small town hospital atleast we have one for emergencies yes it needs more improvement but like I said it's a small town hospital and I think its alot better then it use to be small hospitals can only do so much before they send ya to a bigger one I always go there for my needs unless they dont have the resources I need for me so people need to help our hospital grow and it could become a great place thank you saint Vincent for always helping me or guiding me where I need to go

Excellent care in the emergency department!! In and out quickly, staff was very friendly and compassionate! Definitely recommend! Thanks for the great care!!

They have the Best Staff that I've ever seen, they will go out of there way to assist you. From signing in to leaving its all about your Health and best well-being.

From a late night ER visit to my yearly screening tests, I have always been impressed with the kindness and professionalism and knowledge of the people who work at Ascension St. Vincent.
Radiology and the Lab and Registration, as well as the nurses and doctors, exhibit such a caring attitude.
My family as well as my grand children and friends have all trusted Ascension St. Vincent with their health and well being. This hospital cares!
