Fairfield Inn by Marriott Evansville West

Rooms are very clean and have everything you need. Christina and Candy are amazing. They did everything possible to make sure I was happy with my room and location and put me close to my friends. They’re very friend and greeted me with and smile. Plus, they gave me a drink and snack❣

One year ago when we made our reservations well in advance at this location so we could travel and view the April 8, 2024 solar eclipse from its path of totality many Fairfield Inn Evansville West guests were quite critical of this property. It was undergoing renovations and complaints about noxious odors, surly hotel staff members, outside road noise, construction noise, poor housekeeping, non-working elevators and even poor breakfast offerings abounded. But we are loyal Marriott customers and figured that things would certainly have changed, been corrected and the renovations completed by the time we arrived there. Well, we want to tell you that they definitely were changed, everything has been corrected and the renovations are completed! Our experience was excellent. Candy checked us in and made a pleasant and hospitable first impression. Amanda happily brought us the additional towels we requested without any hesitation or reluctance. The morning breakfast staff provided us with abundant food and many offerings - cereals, oatmeal, waffles, cheese omelets, scrambled eggs, sausage links, breakfast ham slices and much more. They, too, were welcoming and cheerful…and at 6:30 am you know they had to be there and get things ready before then so they’d certainly been up and at work for a while prepping for us. Our last interaction was with the front desk clerk, Bonnie, who checked us out. She thanked us for staying at this property and wished us a safe trip home. The ONLY negative we can think to share is that apparently when they renovated this hotel over the course of this last year, the architect and builders for some reason decided not to reinstall bathroom fans. Now with 4 adult occupants staying in our room together, all taking showers and using the toilet, a bathroom fan would have been nice. And our room was not equipped with a clock radio, which apparently should have been there, but we never needed one so it didn’t matter to us at all. Can’t say enough good about this property. Nothing like the reports of a year ago. You will enjoy your stay if you select it for your travel to or through Evansville, Indiana.

The staff here were SUPERB!! Dottie worked with us personally to help us get a room so close to deadline of our event without sighing or groaning. Becca came to our room late to help our parents get the wifi connected, helped with AC, and showed us privacy curtains. All with a very bright smile and willing spirit. They treated us like we were guests in their home! Quite often, workers in this kind of industry are easily taken for granted and walked, expected to do our bidding like they aren't real human beings. Because they may not receive much in the way of compensation for such an environment (not due to their employers), it can take a toll on their personalities unfortunately. If this what these ladies are experiencing, YOU WILL NOT KNOW IT by the way treat you. Hands down the best service we've had since I could remember. Worth the money. We sure hope to come back. Thank you guys!

Very nice hotel. Was very clean. Even tho it was a packed house, I didn't hear any noise. Beds are firm and pillows are soft.

This was probably the best Fairfield Inn I've ever stayed in. The staff was the friendliest and most thoughtful I've encountered in a very long time. Becca and Karla at the front desk asked why we were in town and when they found out we had been there to watch the NCAA DII basketball tournament but that our team had lost, they gave us snacks to cheer us up! The free breakfast was great and so was the fitness center. Would definitely stay here again.

I got to my room and I took my shower while I was in the shower. I could hear a beeping noise so when I was finished, I came out and my smoke alarm was beeping. So I went down to the front desk and the young lady name Marcenie Got me another room and she was just so very nice and very helpful. More people need to take after her because she was just really an incredible lady to help me out and I truly appreciate it.

The front desk attendant, Becca provided my mother and me with impeccable customer service and consideration. Her level of professionalism was outstanding!

Everyone was nice.
Rooms were clean and inviting.
Plenty of toiletries and soaps.
Indoor heated pool.
And free hot breakfast!! At a great price! Can't beat that!

Clean rooms and great service! I had been driving for several hours and didn’t make it to this Fairfield until late. Karla and Becca were at the front desk and were so friendly and welcoming; after a long day it was great to have such a positive interaction with them, and it made me feel right at home. Thank you Karla and Becca for brightening my day!!

I have stayed at the Marriot twice now. Both times the service and accommodation were excellent. Of particular note was my last stay on 2/24. Marcenie was working check in when I arrived. She was courteous and very welcoming and quickly handled my check in. She also managed a last minute room change with grace and humor and made sure to check in again to see that all was well. She is an example of excellence in service and kindness.

Arrived before 2pm and asked if it was too early to check in. Room was clean and ready to go. Christina went above and beyond and checked me in promptly and even offered snacks! When I am in Evansville, IN for business, I always stay at Fairfield Evansville West.

Definitely one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Breakfast service area was top-notch. Everything was fresh and replaced instantly! Sorry, got that right there.

I don’t often stay at this brand but, after this weekend‘s experience, I will keep an eye out for them in the future. Very comfortable beds and room, though we wished there was a mirror outside the bathroom so more than one person could get ready at a time.
Hands-down the BEST complimentary breakfast I’ve had pre-or post-Covid! Plus the sweet ladies keeping it all clean/stocked were a hoot… it was like breakfast and a show. It might be abit much for those that like quiet mornings but I found them delightful.

Karla and Becca were super accommodating! The check in process was smooth and the rooms were great. Would 1000% stay here every time in Evansville.

The rooms were very clean and nice. The location is great. We always stay here to go to treasure hunt not far away. There is a free hot breakfast. It is always so delicious. The staff are so nice and helpful.

Very clean room, awesome cable to choose from, good water pressure, fabulous layout of room, AC works great, Breakfast was better then most, coffee is very watery, pool is a bit cloudy and the front desk seemed annoyed during check-in. That's ok when and the other important items check off. I would definitely recommend for a short stay.

Great hotel to stay in. Employees were nice and the location is perfect for dining out and traveling.

The rooms are super clean, the beds are very comfortable. The lady at the front desk is so sweet, and very professional, I will definitely book here again.

Went for college graduatin. Great place. Close to restaurants, stores, everything! Breakfast included.
