Holiday Inn Express Evansville - West, an IHG Hotel

This was one of the nicest Holiday Inns we've been to. We felt welcomed from the moment we stepped through the doors. Darlene at the front desk was so friendly and made us feel like Holiday Inn royalty. The entire facility was so clean and spacious. There was complimentary tea, coffee, and hot cocoa in the lobby when we arrived, and it was stocked and available throughout our stay. The pool was clean and great for a short, relaxing swim. The exercise room had free weights, treadmill, stair master, bike, etc. Comfy beds. The breakfast was also pretty good--biscuits and gravy, cheese omelet, veggie, omelet, potato, pork sausage links, plus continental breakfast stuff. Too many choices to have them all! All in all, it was just a pleasant stay.

My wife and I went on a 3000 mile round trip and decided we would stay at this chain. This was our last stop before we got back home. Rooms were very clean and staff was great.

Kennedy at the front desk went above and beyond. We felt like family. Clean comfortable place.

This was a very nice stay. The room was large and clean with bottled water and microwave popcorn set out for us.

The breakfast was great with a lot of options. The location was perfect for what we were in Evansville for.

This will be our go to stay when we are in Evansville.

A friend arranged for my family to stay here. We have never stayed in a Holiday Inn Express. This one was very nice. I felt like I was sleeping in a new bed! The linens were so clean and oh so fluffy!!! The bathroom was nice and clean. The overall room was very clean. Well...there was some to-go plates left in the refrigerator from previous guests, but no big deal. And the room was by the stairway, so it got a little noisy in the morning while others were checking out. So, if you plan to sleep in, don't get a room by the stairs. When we arrived we were told there were only two rooms left. That means for a full house this hotel is very quiet!! We didn't here a peep until the morning traffic on the stairs. It really wasn't that bad. Again, we were impressed!

Cleaning personnel doesn't know what a vacuum is. Don't leave a clothes hanger on the bed or cleaners won't make bed. The rooms are much smaller than typical HIE rooms. You walk through bathroom on way to bedroom. No trash can near sink. Hotel counter staff was very nice though.

Update on 6/21/2018. Hotel did a 180. It's super clean this visit. The room is clean!

Staff friendly and professional. King suite was the largest we had ever stayed in with microwave, fridge, King bed, sleeper sofa, whirlpool tub. Very clean room and accessible shower. The indoor pool was a plus and they had great safety during COVID19 times. Thank you so much!

Staff is nice and friendly. The rooms are clean. The housekeeping staff are friendly. They gave us clean towels, emptied are garbage cans, made up beds, restocked the coffee every day we stayed there (3 nights, 2 days). With Covid-19 here, their restaurant area is closed, however they do a grab and go bags and they will make coffee the way you drink, they also have other breakfast drinks that they make for you. I would recommend this place to stay while traveling or visiting family.

It's not as close to the Tropicana casino as it appeared on the map, so I if that's why you're staying there then maybe reconsider. The rooms were nice, but the breakfast was lacking in a big way. The eggs were almost a jello consistency and you could see the employees microwaving the omelets in a microwave attached to the breakfast area. It wasn't an unpleasant stay overall, but as someone traveling on business and separated from real cooking, I regretted not going out for breakfast.

I was in town with my 2 kids for 3 days with the BMX event at Burdette Park. This hotel was affiliated with the event so I pre-booked our accommodations here. When arriving at the hotel I noticed how clean and presentable the exterior was. Inside, the hotel was clean and I was greeted with a warm welcome. There was an issue with our reservation that only showed one night stay when in fact 2 nights were booked. The evening and overnight staff helped us through this issue, Lisa I believe her name is. She was able to make the needed arrangements and all was perfect. I appreciate her effort. The breakfast buffet was filled with many selections to suite everyone. Hot eggs, sausage patties, cereals, yogurt coffee and juice. The breakfast attendant kept the area both stocked and clean. She was very pleasant.
I will definitely stay at this location the next time I'm in the area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing accommodations in Evansville.

Great location! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are perfect size, clean, and air conditioner works great. They have everything you need and more. Breakfast was very good, lots of choices. We will be returning.

What a pleasant surprise! I used to stay on the other side of town, but had booked this location to save a few dollars. Check in was quick and easy, and Diana was very helpful in recommending some local restaurants (awesome steak house just minutes away). The room was clean, wifi was strong, and the breakfast is what I have come to love and expect from a Holiday Inn Express. I'll be seeing you folks again next time around.

Totally Awesome experience arranging this Hotel stay during COVID 19 while traveling by vehicle to Evansville, Indiana. Melissa was Outstanding to work with in meeting our needs! Although We have stayed here many times over several years, the staff here lead by George and his team once again exceeded all expectations, ThankYou and a special thanks to Melissa for putting us up a day earlier then expected we just wanted to be sure we were in a safe place to stay. I must say to our biggest concern traveling during this time lead us to arrive early, knowing how Outstandingly clean this Hotel has always been, it far exceeded any expectations yesterday, they are Well above average in any COVID 19 preps, the place is immaculate! Thank-You to the Management and Staff......

Best hotel in Evansville, been staying here for work off and on for the last 19 years. Great staff, always clean. From George, the general manager to Mary the breakfast host, they always greet you with a smile.

Great hotel. Very friendly staff. Lots of options for breakfast and its included with your stay! Pool is small but nice. We would stay here again when visiting our family in Evansville.

This is a nice property, close to the assisted living facility my Mom lives in. She's in Evansville, IN, as far South & West as Indiana gets. I live in South Carolina, so every vsit requires a room.
It looked like they had renovated in the last 2 or 3 years since our last visit, Memorial Day weekend through June 2nd, 2018. It was very nice. It wasn't bad before. It's always been nice.
The desk clerks are fantastic, so are the housekeepers. Everything is clean & shiny. Breakfast is very nice. It's a nice, sunny lobby.
There are LOTS of places to eat all around the immediate area, there is a movie complex you can see when you park. There are at least 2 pharmacies, & around 3 grocery stores fairly nearby. The desk clerk's can give you directions - none of them are very far away.
It's just off US HWY 62 W from US HWY 41. (Yes, the one in song.) And they have luggage dollies, a must if your back is bad, tired or injured.
We enjoy our stays here when we come up to see Mom. We used to stay at her house, but she sold it, & moved into her little assisted living apartment. We can't stay there with her now!
We stay here for every visit with Mom. When she gets tired, we can tell her good night, then go grab a bite & a beer, or maybe a movie.
This Holiday Inn Express is not far from US HWY 62 (maybe 1/8 mile) as it goes through Evansville, but we're never bothered by road noise. We sleep very well, & grab a nice breakfast. Then we go see Mom.
It is very nice to have a nice peaceful room to return to after hanging out with Mom, talking about everything, & watching old Westerns on TV. (Mom she likes them - no cursing or sex. Smart lady.)
We really like this property. We'll always stay here when we come to Evansville to visit.

Been coming here for weeks, months, years. The entire building is newly remodeled! I love the staff! . Price is very reasonable. Close to various chain restaurants and big box stores.

It's a pretty great place. It's got breakfast, inside hot tub and pool. It's also really close to Logan's steakhouse and apple beas which is nice. The staff are really friendly and make sure your stay is good. 10/10

We were on the first floor. The room was nice, clean and quieted down nicely. The staff was very polite and helpful. I forgot my toothbrush and the staff was quick to help out.
